I booked my driving lessons with Northshore Driving School many weeks ago, oh man, they are just amazing!!!! From Admin side, Michael was extremely friendly and helpful, super understanding in my situations and so on. Booked all my lessons to suit my busy schedule weeks ago in advance. From driving coach side, I have to recommend Leila to everyone, she is just incredible!!! As an international driver I bought their packages (spent lots of money) to learn how to drive in Sydney. However, my first instructor (Andrew) was very short tempered and he kept cancelling my lessons thanks to him I lost my confidence as he wanted a student who is an experienced driver, so I decided to change the instructor who did not give me any feedbacks I technically wasted my time and money behind the wheel without learning anything! I also had to change my test date a few times.his car was so old and made noises during reversing. finally when I went for a test the officer told me I failed due to incorrect road positing something that my instructor could have easily corrected me. My experience was not good at all. First, the instructor was almost 20 mins late and the lesson didn't last 1 hour (I was offered and charged for that). During the driving lesson, he was not patient and he stressed me out all the time, his body language and the way he gave me feedback didn't demonstrate that he was patient and therefore not a suitable instructor (at least not for me). By the end of the lesson, he completely changed his mood and was more friendly, so it made me feel that he was trying to sell the 5 lessons package he suggested I should take. After this, what I got was lack of confidence so I decided not to take the driving test. I have been taking lessons in a different school and getting confident again, so I realised that my first experience was not "normal".Read Less

After trying to learn to drive from my father at 18, my husband at 24 then two other instructors later in life and still not getting the confidence (few minor accidents and change of home countries often had a lot to do with it) I needed to be on the road, I can safely say that Ben at North Shore driving school is an excellent driving instructor. Australia is a big change for me from US where I last drove and I didn't think I could drive on the narrow roads and streets and park into such small spaces. Ben made me practice my weakest areas again and again and again in real conditions and gave me the confidence I needed. He taught me tricks to overcome my fears. He made sure I was present in the moment while driving and often repeated- ‘Now Breathe and Relax’ and ‘Drive to the Conditions’ during the lessons . I am driving now and can’t thank Ben enough for the work he did with me. Teaching comes naturally to Ben and I can tell that he treats each person as a unique individual and changes his style to suit their needs. I had 2 excellent driving instructors Adam(Auto) and Iain (Manual), they were both so patience and let me progress at my own speed. It was great that they were both very enthusiastic and there to help me improve my driving. When I went for the P's test my test instructor even mentioned that he could tell that I had been to Peters Driving School due to my high standard and attention to detail. Thanks Peters Read Less
