I have had all four instructors (Ross, Michelle, Brett, John) and they are awesome instructors whom are very good at their craft. They each have their respective methods of teaching and has helped me a lot with my understanding of operating the truck. There was no pressure and they guided me through each step with their calm and collective advice even though in some situations it would've warranted a few F-bombs. I strongly recommend each and every one of them to new drivers since they are incredible and humble individuals to be taught by and conversate with.

I had a very good experience with Cairns Truck Driving School. My instructor, Joe, was excellent. He was very calm, patient, and professional throughout the training. Even though I had some language barriers, he made sure I understood everything clearly by adjusting his teaching style and explaining things in a simple and effective way. He never rushed and always supported me with confidence. I truly appreciate his dedication and teaching skills. I highly recommend this school, especially Joe, to anyone looking for quality driving training.

5/5 stars for Craig! He’s an incredible forklift trainer who perfectly balances being helpful with being strictly professional. He emphasizes safety and clear communication, which I really appreciated. He’s a great mentor during practice, but a very fair and serious assessor during the final test.
I also want to mention my Loader and Tractor trainers, Richard and Ross—they were absolutely amazing as well! If you're looking to get your tickets, this is definitely the place to go. They have a team of truly amazing trainers. Thanks, everyone!

I have nothing but absolute gratitude to Chris for his attention to detail with training me, the positive reinforcement, affirmation of correct driving procedures and teaching practices to get the areas most that need to be polished to attain and pass the licence test. I am so very grateful Chris took me all over Cairns to train for every possible road condition (including the rain we experienced) which gave me the results I needed to pass. Exemplary Training. I recently completed my Medium Rigid licence with Cairns Truck School, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more.From the beginning, the whole process was smooth and well organised. Chris and Michelle were both fantastic throughout the training. They’re incredibly patient, professional, and great at explaining everything in a clear and practical way. Their experience really shows, and they make you feel confident behind the wheel very quickly. Michelle was my instructor before the test and she was amazing, calm, supportive, and very knowledgeable. She made the learning environment relaxed while still making sure I understood all the important skills needed to drive safely and pass the test.
Thanks to their guidance, I managed to get my Medium Rigid licence, and I’m really grateful for the support and encouragement along the way. If you’re looking to get your truck licence in Cairns, this is definitely the place to go!

From my first contact with Cairns Truck School I felt that I was in the right hands. If you want genuine people who want you to succeed then look no further.
My trainer, Peter arrived at our appointment 10 minutes early and was fully prepared to take me through my paces and identify the areas that needed improvement. He was patient and would not allow us to move forward until he was confident that I fully understood what was required.
Kat, at reception also answered all my questions promptly and made me feel at ease with choosing this company. There is a high standard at Cairns Truck School and they deserve their reputation as the best in town.

Cairns trucks school was brilliant in preparing me for my Heavy Rigid License (which they suggested I upgrade too from a Medium Rigid, after assessing my driving ability). I have had all four instructors (Ross, Michelle, Brett, John) and they are awesome instructors whom are very good at their craft. They each have their respective methods of teaching and has helped me a lot with my understanding of operating the truck. There was no pressure and they guided me through each step with their calm and collective advice even though in some situations it would've warranted a few F-bombs. I recently completed my Medium Rigid licence with Cairns Truck School, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more.From the beginning, the whole process was smooth and well organised.
