Thank you very much, Mr. Brian, for being my husband’s and my driving instructor in Australia.
He trained both of us to pass our driving tests on the first attempt with confidence and ease. When I first came to Australia, I took lessons with a few different instructors to find the best one for our driving lessons. 😃 Without a doubt, Mr. Brian is the best of them all.
He is patient, polite, kind, encouraging, and genuinely caring. On top of that, he is exceptionally skilled at what he does and teaches with great passion. Even though I had been driving for years, I am so glad I took lessons with Mr. Brian, as he fine-tuned my driving skills and helped me adapt to Australian driving standards.
Apart from being an excellent instructor, he is a good-hearted and decent gentleman with a very positive attitude. My husband and I never felt bored or tired during his lessons. He teaches calmly and effectively while keeping the lessons engaging through meaningful conversations.
Mr. Brian has truly become a family friend to us in Australia. 😊
If you are looking for a driving instructor and come across his profile, don’t think twice—choose him and follow his guidance. If he says you are ready for the test, then you are ready. Brian has been incredibly helpful in my learning as a driver. Very calm, collected, and relaxed. His reverse parallel parking method is very simple. Incredibly patient, and good company in the car. He develops a very safe and relaxed environment in his clean vehicle. He's professional with how he teaches, and he makes sure you learn how to drive safe. I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Brian. He was extremely patient, calm, and supportive throughout every lesson, which made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He explained everything clearly and always took the time to make sure I understood each skill before moving on. His teaching style was very professional but also friendly, which helped ease my nerves as a learner driver. He made sure I was confident for my test which I passed on my first go and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

I can’t recommend Brian from Hoggs Driving School highly enough. I’ve been driving for over 10 years in my home country, but after moving to Australia about several months ago, adjusting to right-hand drive and the different road rules was a big challenge. Brian helped me every step of the way, patiently guiding me and polishing my driving little by little until I felt completely confident on the road.
What really sets Brian apart is his teaching style. He knows exactly when to commend good driving and when to give constructive advice on how to improve. He is incredibly patient, understanding, and compassionate, and he genuinely cares about his students’ progress. Our lessons never felt like a chore every weekend, I actually looked forward to them, not only because I was learning how to drive properly, but also because of the great conversations we had along the way.
On the day of my driving exam, Brian made sure I was fully prepared and reminded me to be excited rather than scared and he was right, I passed and got my license just as he said I would.
I truly believe I could have gone with another instructor and simply passed the test, but Brian gave me something much more valuable: confidence, full awareness, and the knowledge to drive professionally and safely on the roads. If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely invests in your success, Brian is the one. Highly, highly recommended!

Calm, composed and with years of both driving and teaching experience. Brian not only has the tools to teach you how to drive on the road, he also has the patience to walk you through the appropriate methods that will allow you to be the best and safest driver as you possibly can on the road. By giving you active feedback, helpful tips and useful words of advice that you'll be able to take with you beyond just passing the test. I have had a long journey to getting my license. After a very serious road accident I was left with PTSD and was a nervous driver to say the least. Brian worked with me tirelessly and I gained a confidence on the road I never thought I would have. Today I got my license and it is down to Brian and the amazing job he does. He isn't teaching people to pass a test on a specific road, he is teaching people to become capable and safe drivers in any situation. I couldn't be more grateful for Brian's patience and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to drive in an informative and above all else friendly environment. He trained both of us to pass our driving tests on the first attempt with confidence and ease. When I first came to Australia, I took lessons with a few different instructors to find the best one for our driving lessons. 😃 Without a doubt, Mr. Brian is the best of them all.
He is patient, polite, kind, encouraging, and genuinely caring. On top of that, he is exceptionally skilled at what he does and teaches with great passion.
