General Info
We at Straight Path Driving School pride ourselves on professional, friendly, and patient lessons. We give plenty of feedback throughout the lesson. Our cars are late model vehicles with air-conditioning, power steering, dual controls, ABS brakes, dual Air-bag and are safe and comfortable to drive. One price covers the (45 mins) or one hour lesson, pick up, and return. Straight Path Driving School services all the Northern and Inner City suburbs of Melbourne. We teach in late model, safe cars with friendly, patient and fully accredited driving instructors.

I cannot recommend Abdul from Straight Path Driving School highly enough as a driving instructor! From our very first lesson, it was clear that I was in excellent hands.
Abdul is incredibly patient and understanding, which made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. What sets him apart is how he tailors his teaching style specifically to you; he assesses your current experience and knowledge and guides you at a pace that feels right, never rushing or overcomplicating things.
Beyond being a professional and skilled instructor, Abdul is a genuine and kind person. He makes the learning environment feel comfortable and stress-free. Over the course of our lessons, he didn’t just remain my teacher, he truly became a friend.

I had an excellent experience learning to drive from Abdul. He is always punctual and consistently arrives on time.
What I really appreciated was his teaching approach — he first observed my driving carefully, then clearly explained my mistakes, and guided me through a well-structured and planned learning process. His lessons are organised in a way that maximises learning in every session.
Abdul is extremely patient, supportive, and encouraging, which made a huge difference to my confidence behind the wheel. As a female learner, safety was one of my top priorities when choosing an instructor, and Abdul is highly professional and respectful. I would confidently recommend him to any woman looking for a safe and comfortable learning environment.
I’m so happy to share that I passed my driving test on my first attempt, and a big part of that success is thanks to Abdul’s guidance and support.

I highly recommend Straight Path Driving School. I first contacted Abdul last year for some basic driving lessons, and he patiently taught me all the essential skills I needed to begin my Ls journey. This year, I returned to him because he is a genuinely kind and patient instructor who stays calm and reacts quickly in every situation, always making sure we were safe on the road. His prices are very reasonable, and thanks to his exceptional teaching, I passed my Ps test on the first try. I’m truly grateful for his guidance and would recommend him to anyone learning to drive or going for their ps test.

Abdul was such an incredible instructor! Always extremely punctual, and very flexible availability for classes. Was very honest and would change and adjust his teaching methods to find something that would best suit me. Overall an awesome instructor who is patient and reliable, he isn't just trying to teach you how to pass the driving test, he genuinely is teaching you skills that will keep you safe and confident in the road. I don't think I would've passed my test as smoothly as I did if it weren't him teaching me. I recommend him 10/10!

I had a wonderful experience learning with Abdulgadir From the first lesson, he was very patient and calm, always making sure I understood everything clearly before moving on. His way of explaining made driving feel much easier and less stressful, and he always encouraged me whenever I felt nervous. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was able to build my confidence step by step and finally passed my driving test today. I’m very grateful for his effort and would definitely say he is an excellent instructor.

My experience with straight path Driving school has been an extremely positive and helpful one. Thanks to my amazing driving instructor who always stayed calm and collected I'm now able to drive, park and change lanes with both ease and confidence. I've recommended this school to all my friends and I also recommend you sign up and have atleast 1 lesson because I promise you won't regret it. They also have a technique for reverse parking that is beyond amazingly helpful.

Since I began my lessons with straight path I have seen my self improving in each and every lesson. Of course with the help of my amazing driving instructor who has taught me well and has been encouraging me throughout my journey to getting my red P's. I am thankful that he has been so patient although I am always making extremely silly mistakes such as turning left instead of right, and I am looking forward to continuing on until I have become a professional driver.

My experience with Straight Path Driving School was amazing . Due to the fact that I knew that I was in safe hand when driving . I was taught how to park, having good control of the car and what to do when in tricky situations on the road (such as lane change).Also, when I was booking my P's the instructor has given me confidence on the road. I was also shown where the test instructors would take me and what simple mistakes to avoid when on the road. Which had made it easier for me to pass. Now, I'm a P plate driver . I would highly recommend Straight Path Driving School.

Abdul was such an incredible instructor! Always extremely punctual, and very flexible availability for classes. Was very honest and would change and adjust his teaching methods to find something that would best suit me.
