He was really patient and informative during the hole course and it is always ready to repeat the information or feedback and make sure you are in the right path to get your license. Great place and great trainer. Update 15/03/26: I continued the process of getting my overseas license certified and completed the Step 3 (motorcycle license plus) my trainer was Mark at the Thomastown location and everything went smoothly, great communication and great tips to drive safely during the test. I went for my heavy rigid license with them. My Trainer was John, i also had two other trainers (Mark and Mark) who were with me who were doing more training on how to train new drivers. All 3 are really great blokes. Essentially i was lucky enough to have 3 trainers guiding me through the process instead of the usual 1 trainer. I enjoyed my time there. It was definitely a challange learning to drive such a large vehicle. So much information that you needed to take on in such a short time. I can see other people have been unhappy with their training but their problem seems more to be a language barrier than anything else. All 3 trainers i had were able to tell and explain to me in english what i needed to do in a excellent way. I was still getting a little confused every now and then but as i said before there was so much info that you were having to learn that sometimes it was just information overload. They are defenitely not out to fail you so they can make more money out of you, that's for sure. All they want to do is to train you properly and make sure you are competent in the vehicle you are learning in before passing you. Because at the end of the day it is a serious matter. There is already to many incompetent drivers on the roads, we really dont need any more! Anyway i would highly recommend Armstrongs Driver Training to anybody. Thankyou to John, both Marks, Amy and also the bloke who did the theory part of the course (forgotten his name) as well as everybody else in the Armstrongs Team who made it possible, easy and as stress free as possible for me to get my Heavy Rigid license. I will be back to get my forklift ticket, motorbike license, Heavy Combination as well as Multi Combination license. I wont even think of going anywhere else!!! Timm Read Less

Completed my motorbike learners permit training this weekend. Know several people who say great things about training here, and I cannot disagree. Bernie was a sensational instructor!! Clear, calm, concise instructions. Extremely patient and understanding (helped me through one little meltdown), had genuine time and care for everyone in the group, didn't sugarcoat and gave realistic expectations and caution, nothing was a stupid question, - and just generally created a great environment for us to learn and succeed in. Stoked to have had such a great start to this new adventure, now to get out there and put it all into practice! Have been here multiple times for Motorcycle and Forklift courses now. Always had an excellent time. Trainers are very engaging, insightful, experienced and helpful and so to the support staff are friendly and helpful. The courses are well organized and run, providing very good value for money. The course for the the motorcycle learners permit was ok at first. But I found when I didnt pass on the second day the staff became rude and unfriendly when I went to book another test day at their company. So i really noticed a big change in their attitude towards me when they were dealing with Me after I didnt pass on the first go. So I would say that they are only nice and professional towards you if you pass on the first go. Read Less
