I did my rigid dump truck training with LUKE today. The day was awesome! LUKE harbours a wealth of knowledge and is an amazing hands-on trainer, too. The classroom stuff was detailed and covered everything we needed to know. The practical was great! LUKE was very patient and calm during the whole process, which made me feel calm as I went into it slightly nervous. He talked us through all the manoeuvres and processes in detail, making sure we knew how it all worked and why we did each part. Very happy with my experience with RMS and would recommend them to anyone wanting to get trained properly. I will be back to do more tickets with them. Read Less

RMS was fantastic I completed 3 courses in a week HR Auto, Dump Haul Truck and Water Truck. Lots of Health and Safety in the theoretical part of training which I was most impressed with. I recently completed my HR Unrestricted license training. my first lesson was with Charles in an automatic to give me time to get used to the size of the truck, then moving onto the Road Ranger gearbox. Charles was a very clear instructor. He didn't expect anything amazing from me, and when things took time he was very patient. I learned a lot on my first day and Charles gave me a lot of helpful feedback for me to improve on. My next lessons where with Bob. He was also very knowledgeable in regards to operating the trucks. he took me on several routes including steep hills and tight narrow roads. he acknowledged that these roads would never be in a test but it is important to learn to drive them, which I appreciate the time spent on them. Bob also gave very helpful feedback and even took the time to show me the finer points of the workings of the gearbox. Gino was my assessor for my final test. He was easy to communicate with and put me at ease with his friendly attitude before and during the test. The only thing I could say against RMS is that some of the information wasn't sent out to me and I needed to request it, but otherwise it has been an excellent learning experience for me. I can definitely recommend RMS for any training services, they may cost a little more then the competition but you get what you pay for. Thanks again RMS! Read Less

Fantastic! A great first aid course. I did my first aid with RMS initially and have done 2 CPR refresher courses here since. The facilities are always kept tidy and organised and the training was very informative. The trainer really did a great job at using industry specific examples and teaching first aid in a way that would not only relate to my everyday life at home but also in my direct field of work. I recently attended a HR (heavy rigid) driving course at RMS Training and Recruitment and cannot recommend this company highly enough. My instructor, Charles, was a gentleman, calm, very patient and was full of good advice. The examiner, Gino, again was very calm and put me at my ease on the test which I believe makes all the difference if you are nervous. The lorry was nearly new and in immaculate condition. Fantastic set-up !! I passed my HR Licence with RMS and found it very good value for money. They will all go out of there way to help if needed. The instructors John and Charles were fantastic and knew exactly what they were talking about and knew exactly how to get the instruction across. and their teaching skills were the best I have dealt with in the many courses I have done over the last few years. these 2 must have the best Patience levels in the world :) Would highly recommend !! From the moment you enter the Joondaloop office you know you are in safe hands for your particular requirements as there are no portacabins and dodgy looking vehicles in site, just a clean, pleasant and professional learning environment. Merryn and Angela are very helpful and knowledgeable on what is required legally for you complete the required course successfully and are a delight to deal with. I undertook the HR non synchro course and was very impressed with Charles and his brother John who over the weeks helped me to achieve a pass on my second attempt, not there teachings I may add! my own nerves overtook me as it had been 24 long years ago that I last took a driving test of any sorts and that was on a motorbike? I did find it very hard using the non synchro unit as it has been virtually eliminated in the UK where I was using and dealing with synchronised and automatic boxes, but we got there in the long run. I believe they are getting an automatic in the new year which I am sure will help. I would thoroughly recommend RMS for your training needs as they do a wide range of courses including fork lift which I wish I knew a couple of years ago as I would definitely have used them.
