A1 Driving School has shown completely unprofessional and unethical behavior. The owner has listed my private home address as his office location on Google without my consent.
I have contacted him many times by phone, text, and email, yet he refuses to remove my address. This is a serious violation of privacy and shows a total lack of respect for personal boundaries and confidentiality.
If this is how he handles someone’s private information, I have no confidence in his ability to protect the privacy or safety of his customers.
⚠️ Warning to others: Please be very cautious when dealing with this business. If they can misuse someone’s personal address without permission, it raises serious concerns about how they handle customer information.

I am so grateful to A1 Advance Driving School! They helped my son improve his driving skills, and he passed his road test today! His previous instructor wasn't reliable, he just disappeared for a while (turned out he got a surgery appointment and didn't bother inform us in advance. Otherwise, I wouldn't register my son with them) which disrupted his learning process. As a consequence, he failed his road test. With Kamal, he was able to enhance his driving skills and passed his road test. Kamal is knowledgeable, patient, has great communication skills and knows how to deal with teenagers (after the first lesson, my son said: "I like the way he explains"). Thank you so much!

Excellent and very professional driving school. My daughter received lessons from Mr. Kamal Gill, who was very kind and helpful. He covered different kinds of scenarios that could occur while driving, and how to deal with different weather situations. By doing this he helps students feel comfortable and confident to pass the exam, as well as, when driving on their own.
I highly recommend the school, and Mr. Gill to anyone looking to get lessons.

I had a great experience with A1 Advance Driving School. My instructor, Kamal, was thorough and patient and went through all the sequences with me to ensure I was fully prepared. The lessons gave me the confidence I needed and I successfully passed my road test on the first attempt. Thanks to the professional admin team for arranging everything. I would definitely recommend Kamal and his team!

I had the worst experience ever with these guys. The professional part of it was so shady, trust me you will end up paying more than you budgeted for. I took my first 4 classes and was not taught PP and when i had to take my last class, this guy cancelled twice and finally sent some other guy to come teach me. This guy taught me PP on my last class and told me i had to pay $100 for an extra class because i don't know PP yet. I was so furious and i told him they only taught me today so i need practice which i can do at home and not lessons. I went ahead i practiced at home and I passed my road test, I called this guy, saying: I have passed my road test, I have finished my classes i need my certificate. He said no, i still needed to take one class before he gives me the certificate. WTF!! So i desperately needed it for my insurance i decided to pay. We booked another class and this guy didn't show up, i was there for 45mins. I called and texted and he didn't pick up and he later on called me just to say i'll call you back, which he didn't. I called him the next day on several occasions and he finally picked, he refused to give me a discount after wasting my time and he booked for another class. I showed up and it was this new tutor( this new tutor does not work in this driving school or any other) and he said i had to pay him cash, what the hell?? you need to go take out the money from an ATM because i only take cash and he was ready to leave if i had no cash, all these without prior notice, how was I supposed to know given that i paid the first time using my card. F***k I was so pissed off but i needed my certificate. It was so scary they had no office, i didn't see the guy who I paid to initially. We drove for about 1hr and he said you are good. I had to go pick up my certificate after. In a nutshell, if you are here do yourself a favor and look for another driving school.

My experience with A1 Advance driving School was extremely good and I highly recommend this school to others. My instructor Kamal Gill is a really good teacher. He is patient, calm and punctual. I passed my road test in first attempt. I recommended this school to my friends and they also passed their road test in first attempt too. This driving School and its instructor is awesome so whoever is looking for driving school, they should prefer this school over others because it is the best driving school in Calgary.

A1 Driving School has shown completely unprofessional and unethical behavior. The owner has listed my private home address as his office location on Google without my consent.

I am so grateful to A1 Advance Driving School! They helped my son improve his driving skills, and he passed his road test today! His previous instructor wasn't reliable, he just disappeared for a while (turned out he got a surgery appointment and didn't bother inform us in advance. Excellent and very professional driving school. My daughter received lessons from Mr. Kamal Gill, who was very kind and helpful. He covered different kinds of scenarios that could occur while driving, and how to deal with different weather situations. By doing this he helps students feel comfortable and confident to pass the exam, as well as, when driving on their own.
I highly recommend the school, and Mr. Gill to anyone looking to get lessons.

I had a great experience with A1 Advance Driving School. My instructor, Kamal, was thorough and patient and went through all the sequences with me to ensure I was fully prepared. I had the worst experience ever with these guys. The professional part of it was so shady, trust me you will end up paying more than you budgeted for. I took my first 4 classes and was not taught PP and when i had to take my last class, this guy cancelled twice and finally sent some other guy to come teach me. This guy taught me PP on my last class and told me i had to pay $100 for an extra class because i don't know PP yet. My experience with A1 Advance driving School was extremely good and I highly recommend this school to others. My instructor Kamal Gill is a really good teacher. He is patient, calm and punctual. I passed my road test in first attempt. I recommended this school to my friends and they also passed their road test in first attempt too. This driving School and its instructor is awesome so whoever is looking for driving school, they should prefer this school over others because it is the best driving school in Calgary.
