Took the course Friday the 24 and Saturday the 25th did the test today the 26th got 20 in a row and just like that its done. Daryl did an excellent job teaching the right things. Thanks for the help.

Took the single unit air brakes course, class on Friday evening and the morning Saturday with Darryl (7 hours of total theory) & 4 hours of practical on Saturday with Kurt including the pre-trip inspe...
Took the single unit air brakes course, class on Friday evening and the morning Saturday with Darryl (7 hours of total theory) & 4 hours of practical on Saturday with Kurt including the pre-trip inspection (ICBC Driver Certification so you only need the knowledge test @ Service BC). Plenty of practice quizzes and we walked through every pertinent chapter in the current "Driving Commercial Vehicles" (2022 edition). Was able to do a walk-in @ Service BC in Campbell River on Monday morning, paid $15 for the exam, scored 100% (the exam ends if you get the first 20 correct out of the 25 questions). $17 for the new license to be issued with the air brakes endorsement, they take a new photo and as long as your license doesn't expire within the next 6 months, the expiration date stays the same.

Hello Darryl,
I've been driving Super-B Chip trucks for 2 months now since I got my license. It's a driving experience that no one could have prepared me for but you and Brent. My trainers were surprised with my driving skills despite being so fresh out of school.
When I took my road test I wasn't entirely sure I was going to pass but I ended up with 0 road demerits and 1 demerit on the pre-trip because I did my air test for 45 seconds instead of a minute. Changing gears had become second nature at that point and I'm sad my company didn't give me a manual truck for that reason.
I only wish I asked more questions about my specific profession I was going into before I left. I can't thank you enough for all of the advice, all of the work and effort and all of the specific driving scenarios I asked to work on. The Super-B experience I learned with your school has made my job so much easier than had I not.
There's only one thing I have to fear now, and that's Winter. Just make sure new drivers know to always bring a book, some food and drink because anything can happen in this profession.

Course was well laid out, knowledgeable, hands on was great, and over all just very well taught. Can see he is wanting to see the students to succeed. Going into the practical I felt prepared and confident. Great character and defiantly recommend him if your looking for any training courses he provides. Just finish's his course today, and looking forward to tackling the exam tomorrow at ICBC.

In January of 2018 I had driving lessons with Daryll at 1st Class Driving School. I must say Daryll is an excellent instructor, with good teaching methods. I passed my Class 1 AutoMatic Driving Test January 30, 2018. A variety of options regarding which driving instruction you want as well as great scheduling of lessons including weekends. Thanks for being accommodating.

I've been driving Super-B Chip trucks for 2 months now since I got my license. It's a driving experience that no one could have prepared me for but you and Brent. My trainers were surprised with my driving skills despite being so fresh out of school.
