I had a great experience with Gandhi! He was very patient with me and calmly helped me to correct all my mistakes. He explained everything clearly and helped me to feel very confident behind the wheel. Because of Gandhi, i was able to pass my N test first try! i really appreciated his encouragement and would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive!

Ghandi is the best! All three of my girls had lessons with Ghandi. They always looked forward to their lessons and they came out with great road knowledge and driving skills. All passed their exam on the first try! Ghandi is kind, fun and generous, even adding on an extra hour of lesson for free the day before my daughter’s exam because his next student cancelled. I HIGHLY recommend Ghandi, he truly gave our girls a wonderful driving experience.

Prior to joining Ghandi’s driving school I had been trained by 3 other schools and had failed the driving test 4 times. Ghandi is quite different from other instructors by providing very detailed feedback and actually nitpicking the finest defaults allowing a driver to fine tune their schools. Within 3-4 sessions I became much more confident and as of today have passed my Class 5 test. Would absolutely recommend with a solid 10/10.

I had a positive experience with North & West Van Driving School. The instructor is knowledgeable, patient, and focuses a lot on building confidence.
Lessons are very practical, often covering real test routes and common problem areas, which really helps reduce nerves on test day. The feedback is direct and useful, especially for fixing small mistakes quickly.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want structured, test-focused driving lessons in the North Shore area and are aiming to pass your road test efficiently.
