I passed on the first try for my L road test! I had 6 hrs of practice with Lucas/Dillon and another 3 hours the week before my road test. Before my first lesson, I hadn't driven in 6 years+ and had very low confidence due to an accident. Lucas and Dillon takes the time to understand the type of driver you are and tailor the lesson to your needs. They're very patient and kind while promoting a stress free driving environment. I have just passed today my class 7 road test at 1st attempt. I had never driven before starting the lessons with Lucas, and I took about 25 hours driving lessons with him. I have found Lucas is a very good instructor, extremely patient, always on time, straight forward. I feel that he really set me up for success, and I am really grateful I have learnt to drive with him. Thanks to the exceptional teaching on the part of my instructor Lucas, I was able to pass my Class 7 road test after no driving in nearly a decade! Scheduling was easy; he was very accommodating to my work schedule and location .We were able to log in several hours of driving during the after-work rush hour. Even on busy roads, I felt comfortable at all times, thanks to his clear and calm instruction. He always has good advice and handy diagrams that made the mechanics of driving make sense. Parking, turning, hazard perception, and more were all covered. Prior to the test, we ran a few practice tests and went over some tips on succeeding with ICBC. After relocating to Canada, I had to transfer my driving license from an Israeli to a Canadian one. I am an experienced driver, but since the driving rules in Canada are quite different from Israel, I was worried it might take me some time to adjust my driving so I started taking lessons with Topas Driving School.
