I have nothing negative to say about my daughter's driving experience with Westside Driving. My review is to only caution people, which I was not aware of and perhaps that's my own fault for not asking, but Westside Driving is not an accredited driving school with ICBC which means your child cannot test out of their N 6 months early. My daughter drives A LOT. She travels every day back and forth from Peachland to Kelowna, has a clean driving record and is confident she would be able to test out of her N at 18 months. However, when we reached out to ICBC to schedule that test they stated her certification was not valid for the test out option further stating Westside Driving School is not on ICBCs accredited driving school list. So for paying the same amount of money for driving lessons as other accredited driving schools offer, she will have to wait for the 2 years to expire. Just a precaution if anyone is thinking this will be counted to reduce the N term down to 18 months it will not. My daughter did pass her N and there were no complaints about the school or the instructor. If this information is not correct, then the school needs get that clarified with ICBC. Read Less

Me and many other girls I know have had negative experiences with Martha from Westside driving school. I often felt discouraged during my lessons, and sometimes frightened to drive. Every other girl I have spoken to has had a similar experience, however, none of the boys who have had her had anything negative to say at all…. she even told me of an incident in which one of her male students totalled his father’s car driving into a pole while parking, to which she said, “I felt so bad… he was just so willing to learn” I wonder what she would have said if the student was female?
