We have also proudly introduced the World's 1st VR Drviing School that will provide Manitobans with the most effective and coolest driver training program in not only Canada but the world!

I came to Joe having driven very little and essentially starting from scratch. I did a lot of research before choosing Joe at Frontier, and I'm happy to say that he blew away even my high expectations...
I came to Joe having driven very little and essentially starting from scratch. I did a lot of research before choosing Joe at Frontier, and I'm happy to say that he blew away even my high expectations. He was always calm, patient, and full of tips and suggestions not only for passing the road test but for driving in general. And he made parallel parking so easy! Thanks to his help, I was able to pass my road test on my first try.
I have no doubt there are other instructors with the same level of technical knowledge, but I'd be surprised if there were any with Joe's personality, which made learning so much easier. I had to take a couple of months off in the middle of our lessons, and after my road test, he casually mentioned something I'd said to him in our first lesson—over two months ago. That genuine care he has for his students is what sets Joe apart, and he expresses it in his patience and understanding every single lesson.

I had taken 3 driving tests prior to my lessons with Joe, but had failed them due to nervousness and insecurity. After hearing about Frontier, I decided to take one lesson with Joe right before my road test... and passed! He is a very calm and patient instructor, and clearly explained how to correctly maneuver the issues I was having. Going into my (fourth) test, I felt confident and prepared- something that wouldn't have been possible without Joe's guidance.

Joe trained me to be a safe and confident driver. Since my first lesson he patiently guided me and was always positive and encouraging in his words and actions. He was very detail oriented and had a way of explaining things concisely. When he knew that I was struggling with my left turns, he gave me pointers and made me type it on my phone because he knew I needed to write things step by step: he was very perceptive!! Besides that, he was genuinely supportive, kind, and sincerely wanted me to succeed. I only have the best things to say about Joe!! Thank you so much for giving me this freedom!!!

My experience with frontier driving was amazing, throughout the entire time i had no issues what so ever, the instructor is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, along with his deep understanding...
My experience with frontier driving was amazing, throughout the entire time i had no issues what so ever, the instructor is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, along with his deep understanding of driving that comes with it making you feel comfortable on the road. Without the instructors lesson before my road test i would have been definitely unprepared, but after his very clear and straight forward lessons on what i can change and work on, along his easy steps to parallel parking, i was able to pass easily with 1 general error. Thank you once again for a great experience frontier driving.

Fantastic experience with Frontier Driving Academy. Got me well prepared for my road test and helped me pass with no errors on my first try. My driving teacher was really nice and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Also had great steps to perfect parallel parking also. Highly recommend this academy. Thanks Joe!

Frontier Driving Academy is the very best school in the city. They offer reliable scheduling, an extremely friendly telephone manner and experienced, communicative instructors. I was taught by Philip and was able to simulate my entire road test multiple times. He helped me become a more aware and confident person on the road. You can't go wrong with Frontier! 5 Stars!!

I wasn't a new driver, but Joe helped me with my technique, reviewing basic rules of the road, and building my confidence.
He was calm, encouraging and I learned a ton from him!
Joe is great at giving constructive criticism and making recommendations based on the way you drive.
I liked Frontier's website, it was convenient for me to book online.
I also appreciated that the car had subtle advertising, and not a big cone on the top. The car was clean, and nice and easy to drive.
I would highly recommend Frontier Driving Academy.

I have no complaints. My daughter took lessons to refresh after getting her license in the states but moving to Winnipeg the same day & not getting to drive again for two years. She said the male instructor (ugh, cant think of his name, but clean shaven head, tall) she got was really calm, supportive, and gave great insight and good experience. She seemed to thrive from the experience of using this course. I felt he was honest with me and so I was able to get in my car and hand her the keys, and she drove me around on errands. Price was comparable to places around town and in the States. My dad was a drivers ed instructor for years, getting almost killed in the one accident that occurred years later in his career. I value calm, good instructors and their dual-controlled cars that help make my family more safe as they practice driving. That makes the cost very very good.

By the time I took lessons with Joe, I had already taken lessons with two other driving schools. He has a very calm demeanour and was very good at knowing how to challenge my skills without making me feel scared or nervous. I honestly hated driving before I took lessons with him and thought I'd never drive. Now, I own a car and I love driving. I'll never go back to taking the bus or relying on other people to take me places. I always tell people who are looking for driving instructors to go to Joe because he's awesome and worth every penny!

Joe is a patient teacher and tailors his lessons based on the needs of the learner. He is very insightful and can readily tell what is amiss in his student's driving. He gives encouraging instructions and can effectively identify the learner's driving errors in order to correct and prevent them from becoming bad driving habits.
I am a new immigrant here in Winnipeg from Southeast Asia. I can honestly declare that without Joe's help I wouldn't have in my possession "my-very-own-brand-new-handy-dandy-class-5-driver's-license"!

Joe is an amazing driving instructor; I'm glad I researched multiple instructors and chose Joe over the competitors. He's extremely nice and helpful, and goes over what you've done in previous sessions as well! I'm glad to have grabbed a few lessons from him and the price was well worth it. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend you take lessons from Joe. As a person with zero experience driving prior to the lessons, I was able to gain a lot from the sessions.

Joe was an invaluable resource for me while my son was attempting his road test. He offered great advice, suggestions and flexibility should we have required a road test evaluation/parking brush up prior to another attempt.
I felt an immediate level of trust and likeability and despite not requiring a session with Joe, I would recommend him and Frontier to anyone seeking driving instruction. He came highly recommended from our previous very trusted instructor as well.

He was always calm, patient, and full of tips and suggestions not only for passing the road test but for driving in general. And he made parallel parking so easy! Thanks to his help, I was able to pass my road test on my first try.

After hearing about Frontier, I decided to take one lesson with Joe right before my road test... and passed! He is a very calm and patient instructor, and clearly explained how to correctly maneuver the issues I was having. He's extremely nice and helpful, and goes over what you've done in previous sessions as well! I'm glad to have grabbed a few lessons from him and the price was well worth it.
