Let me start by thanking the instructors, as without Dave, Brian, Jim and Rob it may have been a longer process. They’re absolutely fantastic in that regard, and I want to thank them for all they did regarding my Class 1 training. Unfortunately, the administrators in Ontario really didn’t do a good job at all . A course that was supposed to run 12 weeks, turned into 5 months including the unpaid internship. Throughout the entire course I may have had one or two full weeks of training . It put a massive financial strain on me and my family, as well as the stress needed to endure the process. For example, I was requested to get a medical done before they would accept enrolment. After they made this course go so much longer than anticipated, it outdated my medical 3 days before my road test prompting another $150 charge for a second medical, that otherwise I wouldn’t have needed. The absolute lack of communication, the changing of schedules sometimes multiple times a day, made for such a strenuous process that had I’d known how terrible it would’ve been I would have just gone to Commercial Saftey College in Truro. Also, they treat the instructors as though they’re completely expendable, and don’t even honor the contracts they sign with them. This is the worst training centre I've ever dealt with. Promised a smooth Class 1 MELT program, but after paying full $7,000 tuition, I got only one week of online classes. Then complete silence for months, no practical training, no road test, no updates. They invented excuses like "Public Safety review" never mentioned before, wasted my expired tests, and forced extra costs (repeated exams, travel from Halifax to Moncton, translator, lost wages, accommodations). My family suffered severe stress, including my daughter's health issues worsening from the ordeal. Unprofessional, unresponsive staff, lies about timelines, and zero accountability. They take your money and disappear. Avoid this place. it's a nightmare and the worst in the industry. Read Less

The main issue is false / misleading advertising. I took class 3 and expected it to take a certain amount of time based on the advertising. 1.5 weeks in class + 1.5 weeks hands on = 3 weeks. The reality is they are going put 3 students into a semi truck with 1 instructor and the amount of time it takes depends on how many students are currently enrolled divided by how many instructors they have. It took almost 6 weeks for me. The 60 hours hands on training also ammounts to 20 hours drive time if your lucky. During this time your not making any money and all of the bills are still rolling in. The school doesn't give a hoot about your problems once they have your money in their pocket. If you are struggling to pass the exam they will simply sell you more training so there is no incentive to give you any quality in the training. Other jurisdictions and other academies have stopped doing 3 students to a teacher because it simply is not fair to the instructor or the students. The school has a million other problems but if you are confident that your a good driver already and you want to spend 5000$ on a class 3 licence then that is what you are getting. Don't expect to learn anything or get any real experience. Beware that it will for sure take longer than your expecting. The "unlimited simulator training" "lifetime job placement assistance" "ELD training" is 100% false advertising. Read Less
