Young Drivers of Truro was absolutely amazing!!! The instructor went above and beyond for safe driving in this world for my son. His communication was fantastic with my son as well as myself. Highly recommend Alexander!!! You get what you pay for and we highly recommend this program!!!

The in-car instructor verbally berated me constantly during every lesson, going far enough as to grab the wheel from my hands and make the car swerve back and forth in order to scare me when I expressed discomfort. Young drivers needs to review their hiring policies because they have some frankly dangerous and horrible teachers.

The staff at this establishment was horrific to say the least. During my in-car driving lesson, I was consistently verbally berated by the driving instructor. In addition, the instructor would take lengthy personal phone calls that took up a good chunk of our session. Upon filing a complaint I was greatly appalled by the lack of action taken by Young Drivers. Nothing was done except I was given an extra few lessons with a new instructor, who was not much better. The new instructor decided to try and justify his co-worker's behavior to me as a "personality contrast". At the end of the second to last session with the new instructor, I was advised to not come back or else he would fail me. I paid a lot of money for this course and unfortunately, it was completely and utterly wasted. If you're looking to enroll your kid in driver-ed I would strongly advise you to stay far away from Young Drivers as the staff were extremely unprofessional and often acted like they were volunteers. The instructors I interacted with were abusive and should not be working with or around children.

I have paid a full lessons fee (10 lessons) along with 2 extra lessons but the driving never let me take the test despite taking training with him for a month. He failed me in a simulation test for a ...
I have paid a full lessons fee (10 lessons) along with 2 extra lessons but the driving never let me take the test despite taking training with him for a month. He failed me in a simulation test for a reason which may friends and family has made during their exams but were still able to pass. It is a scam to take peoples money. 45 minutes lessons is for $ 60 and after taking 12 lessons, he never said I am not prepared but a day before exam, he did not allow me to take his cars. Any one can take the driving school car, without taking lessons, or to do a simulation test. I was not taking the course with them. Even if I was, I might not get the certificate for my own insurance, but that could not be a reason to not let me take the car for driving test. If that was the case, he could have mentioned in the beginning rather than wasting my time and money not letting me take the car. I have taken a lesson with him 3 months ago and have booked the road test in consultation with him, and after 3 months he is not letting me take his car. They are racist and chauvinist.

Truro, NS - Complete lack of respect for their clientele's personal time. Three times over the last year and half they have failed to show up for my son's in car lessons. We paid a lot of money for this course, and such disregard for him and those of us who took the time to drive and wait for him, is unacceptable. The communication is poor as well, suppose to receive email reminders and nothing. When call the office, no one available to talk with. Takes days to hear back. Course is a good one, but the administration is very poor.

Truro, NS - Complete lack of respect for their clientele's personal time. Three times over the last year and half they have failed to show up for my son's in car lessons. We paid a lot of money for this course, and such disregard for him and those of us who took the time to drive and wait for him, is unacceptable.
