My son, who struggles with learning new content of any kind, had already tried an instructor elsewhere and was very discouraged and worried he would not be able to get a license. Rays was recommended to us from community friends and we are so thankful for the support we received from the instructor Allen. He spent so much time and attention with my son and showed him so much patience and kindness, and after alot of lessons and the huge commitment from both my son and Allen - HE PASSED his G2!!!! And when my son got out of that car, I am not sure out of the 3 of us who was more excited. Allen's approach is so genuine and you can tell there is real care for his clients. Thank you !

Sadly very disappointed in rays, almost all my family did driving lessons at Rays over the years but once I recommend it to someone else it is a nightmare of cancels lessons, lack of communication, months between driving lessons and denials. To the point it took requesting a refund to actually hear anything from Allen. No idea if a refund is even coming now because that was just more dodging of accountability. I won't be recommending Rays anymore which is a disappointment as before this I would have told everyone to go there. Buyer beware.

If I could rate 6 stars I would! I had a wonderful experience with Ray's Driving School, and specifically with Allan who was my driving instructor. I am extremely grateful for Allan's knowledge, patience and compassion. Allan worked with me and my schedule to ensure I got all the required hours quickly. I struggled with driving anxiety and Allan worked through it with me, allowing me to start slow and get comfortable before pushing me a little bit to gain confidence on the road. Allan ensured I was prepared for every aspect of my G2 test before I went. A year down the road (no pun intended) when I was ready to take my G test, I reached out to Allan with some questions and told him I was feeling pretty nervous. Without any charge, Allan provided me with online resources and gave me some extra encouragement! I recommend Ray's Driving School to anybody and everybody - I would say this is the best driving school in Barrie! Thanks a ton Allan, you're the best! 😆

I took lessons for my G2 and G tests with Allan. My experience was amazing. I would not be driving/have passed my tests without his help. He was so calm and helpful throughout my lessons and I cannot thank him enough. Definitely recommend attending Ray's Driving School for lessons!!

Excellent driving school! Allan was the instructor for the full MTO Approved Education Course, as well as my in-car driving lessons. The course was easy to understand with great questions and examples for different driving situations which helped me a lot. During my in car driving lessons, Allan was very patient and understanding through it all- from my first lesson to my G2 test. Overall, I had an amazing experience with this school and I would recommend it to anyone whether you're a beginner or experienced driver!

I went to another driving spent a quite a bit of money and didn't leave the parking lot. In the first hour in rays driving school I learned more then I did with the other school. The instructor in midland was fantastic learned so much. And I would highly recommend.

I booked private lessons through Ray's Driving School in Barrie in preperation for my G2 test. After emailing my concerns and questions, Kari got back to me right away. Every step was seamless and before I knew it (within a month) I went from being a nervous to a confident driver. Allan was both professional and understanding in my nerves and abilities. With his patience and strong teaching skills I am now happy to say I am holding a G2 license. I owe it all to the team at Ray's Driving School! THANK YOU!!

Having some basic driving skills I definitely still learned a lot from Allan. You can tell he is very experienced and he made me feel comfortable and helped calm my nerves. He was so nice and I actually felt he cared about his work and the people he taught. He congratulated my G2 pass with a hug! Very cool guy. Would for sure recommend him to anyone.

I would absolutely recommend Ray's Driving School to anyone. The in-class course is so informative, they provide you with all the info you will need to be ready to begin your in car lessons. Allan was my driving instructor, and I have to say going into the lessons, not having much previous driving experience, I was very nervous and he immediately made me feel comfortable. He is patient and easy to get a long with, and that makes for a great instructor for anyone who is just starting out. I just recently had a couple refresher lessons, again with Allan, leading up to my G Test and had no trouble passing. Thank you so much to Ray's Driving School for making this such a positive experience for me.

I would and have recommended people to Ray's Driving School. I never thought I would be able to drive and the instructor was patient and kind and so supportive and got me to a place where I felt confident in my driving abilities. I became a good driver because of this school. This is the best driving school in Barrie and without Allan I can honestly say I probably wouldn't be driving today. Thank you Ray's for everything.

I learned so much about safety, that is a personal concern of the instructor in Barrie, put phone in glove compartment....one of the best things I heard cause those darn phones are killing people........

I've put myself and 2 of our kids through Rays, two more kids to go. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They put safety first and teach you how to be safe on the road. They are great at what they do!

My son, who struggles with learning new content of any kind, had already tried an instructor elsewhere and was very discouraged and worried he would not be able to get a license. Rays was recommended to us from community friends and we are so thankful for the support we received from the instructor Allen. He spent so much time and attention with my son and showed him so much patience and kindness, and after alot of lessons and the huge commitment from both my son and Allen - HE PASSED his G2!!!! And when my son got out of that car, I am not sure out of the 3 of us who was more excited. Allen's approach is so genuine and you can tell there is real care for his clients. Thank you !

Sadly very disappointed in rays, almost all my family did driving lessons at Rays over the years but once I recommend it to someone else it is a nightmare of cancels lessons, lack of communication, months between driving lessons and denials. I am extremely grateful for Allan's knowledge, patience and compassion. Allan worked with me and my schedule to ensure I got all the required hours quickly. Allan was my driving instructor, and I have to say going into the lessons, not having much previous driving experience, I was very nervous and he immediately made me feel comfortable. I would and have recommended people to Ray's Driving School. I never thought I would be able to drive and the instructor was patient and kind and so supportive and got me to a place where I felt confident in my driving abilities.
