I do not recommend going here for your M1. If you are looking for a place go to Kingston. I have been studying everything and I have talked to my friend who works for one of these places, and made sure I knew everything. After waiting an hour and a half because this very rule and disrespectful lady messed up my ticket multiple times. I got into the test feeling prepared. I did the test, and “passed” it. The test computer said I got every question right. After I continued waiting for final paperwork to finish my M1, and the same lady says I did not pass. Possibly the computer was wrong, but the disrespect from this woman did not make me feel welcomed, and was a waste of my time. I went straight to Kingston did my M1, and passed first try. Do not go here, unless you want a bad experience. Read Less

I recently attended a road test and would like to raise concerns about my experience with the examiner, whose name I do not recall. During the test, I found that she frequently spoke beyond providing standard instructions, often continuing to talk while I was carrying out the tasks. This made it difficult for me to focus and created confusion, as I was not given the space to respond independently to directions. At the conclusion of the test, I was informed that I had failed because the examiner felt she was “coaching” me. However, I did not request coaching, and I believe the additional commentary contributed to my confusion rather than supporting my performance. I also left the experience feeling concerned about fairness. From my observation that day, it appeared that white candidates were more likely to pass, while several immigrant candidates, including myself, were unsuccessful. I acknowledge this is my personal perception, but I feel it is important to share as part of my experience. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed to ensure that all candidates are assessed consistently and fairly, and that examiners provide clear, concise instructions without unnecessary commentary during the test. Thank you for your attention to this concern. Read Less

GO TO KINGSTON AND IF YOU HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR REQUEST ANOTHER! After scheduling an appointment months before my G2 expired my appointment was canceled due to poor weather. I wasn't informed of the cancelation and showed up in person and was told it was my fault for having booked through a 3rd party website... all my other appointment emails had been from a Drive test email but I understood the mix up. The next available date for an appointment was after my license expired which I pointed out could become an issue but I reluctantly took the appointment and a temporary license extension....it was in fact a problem, fast forward to today. Before the instructor even got to the vehicle I could tell I was in trouble. The instructor did not introduce himself and spoke to me as if he was reading me my Miranda rights and It was clear I had already failed before the vehicle was even on...I was failed for turning right on a red when there was no oncoming traffic. I drove to Kingston had to retake both my G1 and G2 test and was told there was nothing wrong with my driving by the delightful new instructor. I suspect my instructors name was Chuck judging by a similar description and experience outlined in another review I have reposted below. "I had a very bad and awful experience at this place. I did my road test for the G2 license. The examiner(in dark shades) was a rude and inconsiderate old man. Turning right on red is not mandatory but he failed me because I didn’t do that. And to him, my speed was too slow, meanwhile I only went 2km below the 50 and 60 limit. If you see any bald-headed old man with dark shades as your examiner, refuse to take the exam immediately, take an X and reschedule. It’ll save you from the stress. MTO needs to do better in who they give jobs Update: I just heard his name is Chuck. Update: I passed my test with Andrew. Your success really depends on both your skills and who your examiner is" Read Less

I had my driving test with Lisa, and unfortunately the experience was not positive. I followed all the rules during the drive, but she failed me only because she didn’t like the way I was holding the steering wheel. I was still in control of the vehicle the whole time, and it felt unfair that this was the only reason for failing my test. When I politely asked questions afterward so I could understand what I did wrong, she responded in a very rude and disrespectful way. Her attitude made the situation even more stressful, and I did not feel treated professionally. I hope the management looks into this, because proper communication and respectful behaviour are important—especially for new drivers who are already nervous. I truly hope my next experience is more fair and professional. Read Less

If there is zero stars, this is what this center deserves. 2 failures with my wife First one "too many little errors" Second one "her left wheels touched the yellow line when she was turning left" and the old lady recorded that in the dangerous actions. Both failures are non-sense The old lady speaks a language which is difficult to understand, beside her rudeness, I tried to understand the failure reason, and she turned her face and walked. If you are coming from the GTA don't be fooled by the high success rates found on google about this center, simply they profile people based on their addresses, and that success rate is a myth not valid any more. Like other people said, if your bad luck caught you with that old lady be prepared to fail before you even leave the parking, she is very confused to a level that she even changes her mind within the test, first time she told her to go right at the end of the road, and a second later that "end" became magically "first" and then she was upset that my wife missed it. Very very bad center, advise to go somewhere else Read Less

Those that scream from the rooftops: “you should be able to pass your road/highway test in the city of Toronto!!” , can go ahead and act accordingly. For the rest of us that are fed-up with failing and/or find the driving test stressful enough to add even more stress by keep on trying to pass it in a city like Toronto (where gridlocks are the norm, not the exception), there are better options. Just look for the “success rate” belonging to less crowded and way quieter cities and you will find all the answers you desperately need. In the city I picked I had no problem demonstrating that I meet the minimum requirements to drive anywhere I like. Please make no mistake, during the exam: if you break the law, you fail; If you make too many mistakes, you fail. So be well-prepared. Once you pass (and you will if you are prepared and relatively relaxed), keep being a careful/mindful driver. Diving carelessly results in fines, accidents, higher insurance, demerit points and even losing your coveted driver’s license. Passing the exam does not mean that you are either immortal or can live above the law. Keep that in mind at all times and you will be fine. Best of luck !! Read Less
