I had a very good experience with Malik from AAA Four Star Driving School and would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for their G2 test.
Before joining Malik, I had taken multiple classes from another instructor who kept saying daily that I was “driving well” but still “not ready for the test.” Over time, that completely demotivated and confused me.
However, during my very first class with Malik, he honestly assessed my driving and clearly told me that I was already capable of taking the test, and only needed some focused improvements and confidence-building. That honesty and practical guidance made a huge difference.
Even though I was mentally demotivated because of my earlier experience, I still took around 4–5 classes with him to build confidence properly. His training style was calm, professional, practical, and highly encouraging. He focused on actual test expectations rather than unnecessarily extending classes.
One thing I genuinely appreciated was that he always focused on practicing the actual Brampton test routes. Every class was meaningful and helped me become familiar with the real driving conditions, intersections, school zones, traffic patterns, and examiner expectations.
My G2 test was scheduled at 2:45 PM during active school timing, which many people consider difficult in Brampton because of school buses and heavy traffic. In fact, many people advised me to avoid Brampton entirely and give the test in places like Orangeville instead. But I felt that if I am ultimately going to drive regularly in Brampton, then I should be confident enough to clear the test here itself.
Malik specifically practiced those same weekday school-hour timings with me multiple times, which really helped me understand how to handle school buses, reduced speed zones, traffic flow, and lane discipline confidently during peak timing.
With his guidance, I cleared my G2 in Brampton in my very first attempt.
Another important point is that his pricing was very reasonable and transparent:
• $40/hour for lessons
• $150 for test day package
The $150 package included:
• one hour of practice before the test,
• warm-up driving on the actual routes,
In total, he gave almost 3 hours of support on the test day itself, which I found very fair and professional.
Unlike many other instructors, he did not unnecessarily reduce lesson driving time to 40–45 minutes or spend your paid lesson time picking up and dropping off multiple other students from different locations. The sessions remained focused on improving my driving and preparing for the actual test.
Overall, he is a genuine instructor, excellent facilitator, honest in assessment, confidence-building in approach, and very reasonable in pricing.
Thank you Malik for your support and encouragement. Wishing you and all future candidates the very best ahead. Read Less
