Warning to parents considering Ultimate Drivers of Canada on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. Be very careful about their expiry dates and policies.
My son signed up for drivers training last May. He completed the in class lessons right away, but decided he wanted to wait until closer to the end to complete the driving portion as he didn’t feel quite ready. He completed his 10 hours of in-car lessons before the deadline, but because of instructor changes and vacation scheduling, he was unable to complete the remaining defensive driving portion before the contract expired. Despite paying hundreds of dollars and completing most of the program, we were told there would be no extension, no credit, and no refund. my son did receive the certificate as he did complete the ministry mandatory requirements before the year was up. That’s not what I’m upset about. I’m upset that we paid extra for five hours of defensive driving which had nothing to do with the certificate and they will not honour it.
We also had a very negative experience with the first instructor assigned to us, who called and spoke to me extremely unprofessionally after a lesson cancellation made two days in advance.
The second instructor was kind and professional, but overall customer service from management was disappointing and dismissive. Just make sure you fully understand their timelines and policies before signing up.
We paid an extra almost $300 for the five hours of defensive driving and they will not honour it. The girl was very unapologetic and basically said that it’s my son’s fault and he should have read the contract and they are refusing to honour the extra five hours which was bonus hours. It was not required for the certificate.

I extremely recommend this location. My instructor is Jibran. He is the most ideal driving instructor out there. He is patient with me, he teaches me with assertiveness to the point where I learn but I don’t feel scared, and we are able to talk during the lessons so the driving does not get boring. Even during the double lessons which are two hours, he still initiates conversation to keep the car atmosphere fun while learning. He is always reassuring me that I am doing a good job and I feel like that is one of the most important things a student should hear during a lesson. One of the best features Jibran has is that he is able to go from having light conversation to locking in and teaching me.

Training with Jibran has been excellent. He’s patient, clear with his instructions, and really knows how to break down every skill. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my driving in a short period of time thanks to his guidance. On top of that, he’s easygoing and pleasant to learn with. Highly recommend him as an instructor!

I highly recommend this location. My instructor Mandy, is an amazing instructor you could ask for. She immediately made the car atmosphere very welcoming. I felt very comfortable on the road and had no problems with her as she was patient with me and ensured I had a good understanding when I made mistakes. During all my lessons, the car was met with laughter, which made me feel more comfortable around her, and she had also made me feel confident on the road, especially when I was doubting my driving skills. Overall, my experience with Ultimate Drivers was amazing, and I recommend requesting Mandy as an instructor.

I had Samir as a driving instructer. He was very impatient and I felt like he didn't really care nor wanted to be doing his job. Due to my frustration with this I did not complete my driving course......

Due to my frustration with this I did not complete my driving course........ After deciding to complete the course, I contacted Samir and he informed me he was no longer with the company. Now I can't get anyone to return my calls.

If you are trying to find a driving school and read all the reviews about this place, it all says how the instructor Kim is amazing, nice and wonderful. A year ago, when I signed up, I wasn't sure if these reviews were reliable since Kim had "too many" nice reviews. I couldn't understand how this one instructor could have so many compliments. Though, my mind changed at the in class session(Kim taught my in class lessons) and I got Kim as my instructor. I have never driven the car for 8 months after I got my G1 and after just 10 in car session, I passed my G2 at my first shot. If you are tying to pass your G2 with an amazing instructor, I would recommend this driving school and Kim as the instructor.

Ultimate drivers is an excellent driving school. I went for my G2 road test yesterday and passed the first try, and its all thanks to my AMAZING instructor Kim! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher, she really is a miracle worker considering all the fear and nerves i had of driving...I am happy to say i'm confident and no longer afraid and its all thanks to her! Kim, i can't thank you enough and i couldn't have done it without you!! Thank you so much! :)

I have the best experience with Ultimate drivers. Kim, my instructor is the best. She is very helpful and very patient. She pushed me hard in order to better my driving. She is not afraid to tell me wether I did good or not, which I appreciate so much and gave me more courage, determination and confidence to do more and give my best. Without her help, I won't be able to pass both my G2 and G test on the first try. Thanks Ultimate drivers and a million thanks KIM!

Unfortunately you cannot give a '0' star, so I am forced to give '1'. This institute doesn't deserve a single star. They are useless and in the business only for the money. They told me so, too. They don't cater to their customers. Instead they want their customers to work according to their demands. They ripped us off by giving us a run around for in-car classes. They did refund the money but then they did not register my daughter with the Ministry and now she can't qualify for the early Drive Test. The point is not about the money. It's about the service. And they fail on that completely. Don't use these people. There are many better institutes in Cambridge that will provide a much better service for lower prices.

Avoid at all costs. 5 minutes before the road test, instructor tells me that unless I pay him $100 (not the $75 he is supposed to charge), he wouldn't let me use his car. I refused and he took off. I lost the money for the road test, and had to take an Uber home. Worst day I had in months.

Warning to parents considering Ultimate Drivers of Canada on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. Be very careful about their expiry dates and policies.
My son signed up for drivers training last May. He completed the in class lessons right away, but decided he wanted to wait until closer to the end to complete the driving portion as he didn’t feel quite ready. I extremely recommend this location. My instructor is Jibran. He is the most ideal driving instructor out there. He is patient with me, he teaches me with assertiveness to the point where I learn but I don’t feel scared, and we are able to talk during the lessons so the driving does not get boring. I highly recommend this location. My instructor Mandy, is an amazing instructor you could ask for. She immediately made the car atmosphere very welcoming. I felt very comfortable on the road and had no problems with her as she was patient with me and ensured I had a good understanding when I made mistakes. During all my lessons, the car was met with laughter, which made me feel more comfortable around her, and she had also made me feel confident on the road, especially when I was doubting my driving skills. Overall, my experience with Ultimate Drivers was amazing, and I recommend requesting Mandy as an instructor.

If you are trying to find a driving school and read all the reviews about this place, it all says how the instructor Kim is amazing, nice and wonderful. A year ago, when I signed up, I wasn't sure if these reviews were reliable since Kim had "too many" nice reviews. I couldn't understand how this one instructor could have so many compliments. I have never driven the car for 8 months after I got my G1 and after just 10 in car session, I passed my G2 at my first shot. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher, she really is a miracle worker considering all the fear and nerves i had of driving...I am happy to say i'm confident and no longer afraid and its all thanks to her! I have the best experience with Ultimate drivers. Kim, my instructor is the best. She is very helpful and very patient. She pushed me hard in order to better my driving. Avoid at all costs. 5 minutes before the road test, instructor tells me that unless I pay him $100 (not the $75 he is supposed to charge), he wouldn't let me use his car. I refused and he took off. I lost the money for the road test, and had to take an Uber home. Worst day I had in months.
