My teenager had the absolute best experience with Tauney! I can not say enough good things about her. She was kind, clear, friendly and she was also excellent at giving them the confidence they needed! Very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful-fantastic instructor!

Very kind & helpful. They are well educated and have lots of experience and are happy to answer any questions or concerns and are flexible with there appointments. I would highly recommend them if you are feeling nervous or need extra assistance learning.

I am a 47 year old man with about 31 years of driving experience. After having lived overseas for the last 17 years, I had to do a drive test to earn my Ontario Driving Licence as my foreign licence was not eligible for exchange. I found Tauney and New Directions Driving School through a Google search.
I found Tauney was immediately willing to work with me and my schedule. We booked for practice driving lessons before the exam, and for me to rent her vehicle for the driving test. She was quick and organized in communicating with me and punctual for our appointments. I enjoyed the driving lessons we had. I had heard some horror stories from other schools about instructors behavior towards their students (customers) and this is something that I would not have accepted. I am pleased to say that while Tauney had high standards (as should be) she was pleasant, relaxed and respectful at all times. I felt very confident going into the exam and passed the test for my G licence on the first try. I felt the rates were very fair and reasonable, and overall a good value for money considering that she showed me the special emphasis areas that I could expect during the driving test from the examiner.
Would I recommend New Directions? Well, I plan to send my wife to Tauney when she is ready to convert her licence too.

Missed an apointment due to trying to call to confirm a date and him never answering, you will find out when you try to call this man he doesn't answer his phone. So unable to confirm the time and date I missed my appointment my mom then called back to rebook as I was working and managing my crew of painters and he yelled at her, was freaking out. Very unprofessional it all starts with him being unable to answer his phone. Sad when you dont care enough about your business to even answer clients. 1/10 wouldn't recommend.

Best driving school in the area. Both Tauney and Phil are amazing, down-to-earth people that inspire confidence and give clear and easy to understand instruction. It may be a bit of a drive (came from Petawawa myself) but their BDE course is totally worth it. If you're serious about learning they will do everything in their ability to ensure you're successful.

My son did Drivers Ed with New Directions Driving School and is now a great driver. When we first started out I wasn't sure he was going to be safe on our roads due to poor driving habits but New Directions took the time to teach him proper driving habits, confidence and the rules of the road. Colton passed his G2 on the first try and had minimal errors. I am so glad that we went with this driving school as they offered a great service at a wonderful price :)

Best driving school in the area. Both Tauney and Phil are amazing, down-to-earth people that inspire confidence and give clear and easy to understand instruction.
