I joined young drivers with the promise of a reputable driving school that will give me the best possible driving education I could get, with attentive staff and informational lesson. Which partially is what I received however what I didn't expect is that my lessons would be canceled impromptu with little to no warning, and rescheduled only when asked months after my original date was booked. While the instructors and teachers are wonderful, the administration is disorganized and forgetful. While young drivers may get you the lowest insurance rate in the long run, working with young drivers makes me question whether I should've picked a cheaper course for a better experience. The money paid for this course is not worth it considering the lack of attention, in general and to detail, I've experienced. If you are considering joining young drivers I urge you to think of a few before paying your life away: 1) Do you wish for your schedule conflicts to be valued and paid attention to? 2) Do you mind if your lessons take over a year to complete purely because of cancellations? 3) Do you wish to pay a large sum of money for poor treatment? While young drivers may have been the best driving school in Ontario or whatever they claim they are far from that now. In this economic climate I urge them to lower their prices to match the level of service and attention students will achieve or meet the standards that people are paying for! While my experience wasn't all bad, it still was not–in my opinion–worth the price considering the amount I had to teach myself, and fight for lessons. We finally asked for our money back after waiting months for this company to do a refresher and book the driving test for our daughter. They never contacted us to explain the delay. We had to call and email multiple times to get updates. They also still didn't have a date for the in car refresher and testing and told us they did not know when this could happen. I was disappointed they wasted my daughter's time. They are quick to take your money but not do quick to provide the service. Read Less

Not really worth the money. I thought in class lessons actually teaches you how to drive, but instead they teach you how to avoid collision for ten lessons. When I started driving on my class, I had no idea how to drive. Their in class driving lessons were also focused on collision free and not really focused on the basics of driving. The instructor Mark Mitchell is a joke. He always tries to make his students laugh and doesn't take anything seriously. He makes fun of the in class videos by mimicking it and laughing at people's face. I ended up taking other driving lessons after this expensive course. Read Less

Over 20 years I was very enthused about learning to drive and did some practice in my Brother in Law's car. My big mistake was taking a course with Young Drivers of Canada. I passed the written part of the course easily but had to complete in-car hours to complete the program. The instructor Young Drivers hired was more interested in flirting with the young female student I was driving with than doing his job. He wasn't suited to teach driving. He was very bitter and complained about how he had to work weekends, holidays, etc. He was very manipulative and I suggested I didn't want to do any more in-car time with him but be was so aggressivly, manipulative talked me out of leaving.
