I had a very disappointing experience at the DriveTest Centre in Kingston. My examiner was an older bald gentleman (I unfortunately don’t remember his name), and his attitude was rude from the beginning to the end of the test. He spoke in a harsh and impatient tone, which made me extremely nervous. I was failed for not turning right on a red light, even though turning right on red is not mandatory, especially when it doesn’t feel safe. I was also told my speed was too slow on a busy road, but I was only about 5 km/h below the posted speed limit, which is still within a reasonable and safe range considering traffic conditions. After my test, I noticed another review describing a very similar experience, and I genuinely feel it was the same examiner. I’ve also heard similar complaints from other people. It’s concerning because an examiner’s role should be to assess fairly, not create unnecessary stress or fail candidates for subjective reasons. I hope the management looks into this and ensures a more respectful and consistent testing experience. I also hope future candidates don’t have to go through the same situation. Read Less

Terribly rude lady working the front desk. Thankfully I did not have to deal with her this time as we went through the kiosk but I witnessed a constant barrage of rude, abrasive attitude directed at every single customer she served in the 25 minutes that I was waiting for my daughter to do her test. The last 2 times we were here for a drivetest the lady working the desk was rude and abrasive. A customer was there at 8:00 (as per the instructions for her 8:30 test) and they opened the doors at 8:25. The customer went in and the lady yelled out asking who had an 8:30 appt. The customer raised their hand and started walking to the counter. Immediately the lady working loudly barked "you better move it or you'll miss your 8:30 test!!!" The doors had literally just opened seconds before and she's giving attitude to the customer who has been waiting for half an hour - simply because she's not walking fast enough. Not 15 minutes later she calls out the next ticket number. The couple got up and started walking and when they were halfway up to the counter the lady barked out again "Ticket number xxx LAST CALL!!!"... the couple was apparently not walking quick enough either. Every customer she interacted with - she was abrasive. If this was a private business people could choose to take their business elsewhere but since it's a government run facility we have no choice but to tolerate the attitude. Please don't book G test here. Possible scam. I have driven tons on highway (over 90k). Except on the last three months prior where I have driven 3times. Rejected right before i even left the parking spot. Reason provided was I didn't have enough highway experience. Now I have to pay more to rebook the tests. Read Less

This place is very un-professional. I waited there for an hour and never got served meanwhile I think they helped one person while I was waiting, and they make it impossible for people who actually work for a living to get things done. Open until 5pm, I know most people either work from 7-4 or 7-5, and they aren’t open on weekends because they don’t actually know what work is, but make it a little possible for the working people to get things done without having to lose pay to have to go in and wait for hours without getting served. Absolutely horrible, Rude. I phoned the Drive Test call center to make sure I had everything I needed to exchange my out of province license. After waiting for 45 minutes I was told I needed a my birth certificate or a passport nothing else will be accepted. even tho the call center said my licence was a valid id. OK. Drove home 45 minutes to get them, then another 45 back, arrived at 4:15 waited another 35 minutes or so and was told I would not be served. lost half a day of work and a butt load of fuel. thanks for wasting my time and money. Not enough staff. One lady helpful but the other incredibly rude and inconsiderate. They close at 5 but even if you're in there waiting (as you will be!!) for several hours beforehand, if your number didn't come up to write your test before 415, they let you pay but make you come back again. Need longer open hours - this is ridiculous! Hire more staff or ensure that even if doors close at 5, everyone already inside will be served appropriately. Worst business ever. Read Less

Ladies over there is so rude.Always give answer randomly without any reason. I never got answered about my quarry and reasonable question. They always behave so rude. If I can give 0 star than thats good for them.I think they have to change their behaviour. Read Less
