I would give them 0 stars, if I could but I am required to give one. Absolutely dreadful experience with this school. I booked a car for my driver's test for G license and 1 lesson, 5 weeks before my exam with the owner, Paul. He seemed pleasant during our conversation. He took my credit card details and charged the cost to my credit card immediately. I received a call on my voicemail one week before the exam notifying me that the times of the lesson had to be changed. I tried calling the driver instructor who left the message but was not able to get a hold of him in person, instead I got the Comfort Inn, East. I left him a voicemail message. I told him that I could not change the times of the appointment and we had to stick to the original booking time, as agreed 5 weeks earlier. I phoned the office manager at ABC Driver Training to let her know what was happening. Paul was nowhere to be found and I had to deal with this lady. I told her that I was nervous about this situation because I had not heard back from the instructor. She acknowledged that there was a last minute change because her original driving instructor had gotten into a car accident (honestly that does not give me confidence in this school) and they were scrambling to find a replacement, which was this guy. She guaranteed me 100% that they would be able give me a lesson at that time and she would find me an instructor. She phoned me back 2 hours later telling me that they could not find me a replacement. Apparently, the driver instructor said he had spoken to me in person and I was rude to him and he did not like my tone. I never spoke to him in person. We only communicated via voicemail. I did request that the original lesson appointment be honoured. That is not being rude. That is a reasonable request given that I am a busy person with a busy schedule who just paid an exorbitant amount of money to use their vehicle for the road test. She told me that ABC Driver Training will have to cancel the whole package. This means I don't have a vehicle for the road test, one week before the exam. I expressed my disappointment about their unprofessionalism to her. Anyone who has ever taken the road test knows, stress levels are unusually high before the exam. You are worried about other things. The last thing you need on your plate is an unreliable driving school that does not follow through on the services they have promised. They took my money. They did not follow through with the service they promised. I had to contend with a diva driver instructor who was offended because I requested that the original appointed lesson be kept. These guys are not cheap, either. They gouged me. I asked for a full refund. They told me I had to wait 5 weeks to get a refund because the owner Paul is away on vacation. Unbelievable! I let them know I was not prepared to wait 5 weeks to get a refund. I wanted the refund back as soon as possible. I still have not heard back from them. The way I see it if they have no issues taking credit payments, surely they issue refunds. I have sent them written notice and called them twice requesting a refund. The office manager has assured me, that she will provide me with a refund but  3 days later, it has not happened.

I am now engaged in the unpleasant task of getting my credit card provider to do a chargeback. I have been left with no alternative. I tried to resolve it amicably but they have not complied. I am mad at myself because I saw the signs. Their Facebook page has no activities or comments from former students-very suspect. Their website is a sham. The girl on the landing page is holding up a driver's license from Austria. Every review website like yelp or google gives them scathingly poor reviews. I was lured in because the owner was polite and courteous over the phone. My advice is go to another driving school. These guys sound like they are on the verge of bankruptcy which is the only explanation I can find for this behaviour and the stalling. Buyer beware. Read Less

Very positive experience. I had lots of one on one time with the instructor which helped me understand the material thoroughly. It is fairly priced and certified by CAA which makes the deal even better. I would recommend this school to any new or experienced driver. Read Less
