My driving instructor, Basir, is an excellent teacher who is both kind and patient with his students. He is not only proud to educate new drivers, but he is also passionate about his job, which makes learning easier and more enjoyable. Basir takes the time to answer any questions you have, no matter how silly they may seem. He is a good communicator who breaks down topics such as parking techniques, to aid understanding. His strategies for front parking, parallel parking and reverse parking are extremely useful and easy to learn. Basir throughly prepares you for not only your G2 test, but also provides you with driving tactics you can use for the rest of your life. Basir is extremely dedicated to helping his students succeed and goes above and beyond to teach drivers the rules of the road. He prioritizes safety by helping students get into the habit of checking their mirrors, blind spot and speed consistently while driving. After learning from Basir, I can confidently say that he is the best instructor there is. I now feel much more confident in my driving capabilities, thanks to his lessons and ongoing support. I’ve been taking driving lessons with Basir from All-Star Driving School in Richmond Hill, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the very first class, he was patient, calm, and really focused on making sure I understood everything instead of just rushing through lessons. He creates a really comfortable environment, which made a huge difference for me. 👍 At the beginning, I was super scared to even be behind the wheel. I would overthink everything and felt really nervous about making mistakes. But Basir never made me feel bad about it. Instead, he reassured me and broke things down in a way that made driving feel much more manageable. As I kept taking lessons, I started noticing a big improvement in my confidence. By the time I reached my later classes, I felt so much more in control and aware of what I was doing. Basir has a way of teaching that just sticks with you, and it really helped me progress faster than I expected. What really stands out about him is his teaching style. His techniques are different from what I expected, but in the best way possible. He focuses on real understanding instead of memorizing steps, which makes everything feel more natural when you’re actually driving!! Today was my ninth class, and he actually gave me a free lesson where we went on the highway together! That experience meant a lot to me because it showed how much he genuinely cares about his students improving. I had a great experience with this driving school from start to finish. The first four theory classes were very informative and gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed before starting my in-car lessons. Rebecca was an excellent instructor during the theory classes. She explained everything clearly, was patient, and made the lessons easy to understand. When I started my driving lessons with Ben, I felt comfortable right away. He was calm, professional, and very encouraging. He gave me helpful tips, built my confidence, and prepared me well for the road test. Thanks to their guidance and support, I passed my G2 road test on my first attempt!
