Very pleased with the on-line program but very unpleased with the driving lessons. Almost impossible to book driving lessons. Also multiple cancellations “due to weather “ with no contact from the instructor. This is the second of our children to take the course. It is definitely worse than when our first child took the course. They have no plan to make up for the cancellations and make you wait 4 to 6 weeks to rebook. You pay a large amount of money for a service you don’t get. Save your money, book somewhere else.

The instructor made me reschedule my last road exam with him, which resulted in me failing the course because I completed the course over the 1 year limit they set. The course cost my father 1000 CAD and it was suppose to save me money on insurance, but it wasn't worth taking the course again. The insurance company still gave me credit for completing the course, but that was a dirty move on the part of the instructor. This happened over 10 years ago in Timmins, I would not recommend them.

Overall, my experience with Young Drivers was amazing. The skills and confidence I gained from their program will undoubtedly benefit me in the future. I highly recommend Young Drivers to anyone looking to learn how to drive or improve their driving skills.

Both of my daughters used Young Driver's - the course material is well covered clearly by Peter (in class Instructor and one of the in car drivers). Safety is drilled into them during the lessons and course learning which as a parent I love! The defense driving during Winter is a bonus and the 'cogni' fit addition that is only is available through Young Drivers's has helped them immensely - I would highly recommend Young Driver's as your child's choice - my daughters were comparing what they learnt to other driving school's and definitely thought they had the advantage and its the same price so why not choose Young Drivers?! - plus I used it myself 27 years ago and have had not one accident since I started driving - their teaching and course speaks for itself. I purchased three in car lessons through the phone and got to schedule my first double with a guy on the phone and then my next with the instructor at the end of my lesson. Anita was very patient with me and was very helpful with these little tips and tricks she came up with. She would also send notes for you to study and practise with and an email to remind you when your next appointment was. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying to get some driving time.

Yet this is the most expensive drivers ed program! Please don't waste your money in this program, completely NOT worth it!

Very pleased with the on-line program but very unpleased with the driving lessons. Almost impossible to book driving lessons. Also multiple cancellations “due to weather “ with no contact from the instructor. This is the second of our children to take the course. The instructor made me reschedule my last road exam with him, which resulted in me failing the course because I completed the course over the 1 year limit they set. I purchased three in car lessons through the phone and got to schedule my first double with a guy on the phone and then my next with the instructor at the end of my lesson. Anita was very patient with me and was very helpful with these little tips and tricks she came up with. She would also send notes for you to study and practise with and an email to remind you when your next appointment was. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying to get some driving time.
