My partner took driving classes with Ronald to learn to drive as well as prepare for her G2 and G tests. Her driving skills and confidence behind the wheel after each class grew exponentially and were fantastic. I definitely recommend for new drivers and for those who need a refresher before any road tests.

Ronald is an excellent instructor. Over the course of one month with regular lessons I went from very afraid and a poor driver to passing my road test on the first try. My parents have commented that I have become a much safer driver, and they now feel comfortable having me drive on the road with my g2. I would strongly recommend Ronald to anyone interested in driving lessons!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Learner's.
After reading countless reviews here and on Reddit, I also noticed their pricing was much better than the "major company" we're probably all thinking of. Plus, the location, just steps from High Park station, was incredibly convenient. I signed up for the full package (10 hours in-car plus the online course), and it was the best decision I could have made.
Communication from Albert was quick, clear, and detailed right from the start. My instructor, Ronald, was fantastic. I told him early on that I had some road anxiety, and he was as cool and patient as can be. The perfect person to be a driving teacher. I didn’t have a single stressful moment during our lessons.
Unlike the scheduling nightmares I read about with other schools, getting my 10 hours done in just over a month was easy. Ronald imparted some great wisdom that I’ve since passed on to experienced drivers; I even used his specific tips during my actual test.
Since I don't own a vehicle, I booked my G2 test with Ronald as well. He even offered to cut his staycation short to be there for my pre-test refresher and the exam itself. By the time the test started, I felt absolutely confident in my skills and ready to go.
I passed my G2 on the first attempt, and I owe a huge thanks to Ronald for getting me there. 10 out of 10. All the stars.

Absolutely recommend this driving school!
The outstanding support I received from Ronald, even before I signed up, was incredible. He was always honest and happy to explain things that weren’t yet clear to me. A super patient, cheerful instructor.
In detail:
As an adult who had never had a driving license before (didn’t need one) and who was very anxious about poor standards from driving schools, I wasn’t just looking for a school to get my license. I wanted to be a good driver and be safe on the road for myself and others.
This school was on my list of a few options, and when I called Ronald, he spent some time helping me understand what I needed to do — the knowledge test, G1, in-car lessons, etc.
From day one of my in-car lessons, I was already driving in the neighborhood 😱, and every lesson with Ronald was informative, focused on fixing my mistakes, and building my confidence to prevent them.
After passing the final test and finishing driving school, I took some extra lessons to practice even more.
One thing that was very useful for my G2 test was the pre-exam preparation with Ronald on the same day, where he made sure I was ready. And I passed on the first attempt!
I would most definitely recommend this school, and Ronald as your driving instructor!

Amazing driving school. Took both my G2 and G test with Ronald and Albert. The amount of knowledge and experience is unlike anywhere else. I came to them with driving experience looking to improve and learn defensive driving rules and techniques. The lessons go beyond simple road test rules and truly will change the way you drive and perceive the road ahead. Our roads would be a lot safer if more people would learn from Learner’s.

I reached out to Learner's Academy right before Christmas with only 2 weeks to my road test. Not only did Albert prioritize me throughout the holidays but he explained things to me in a logical and comprehensive way that my former school had failed to do and the positive reinforcement had no end. My driving instructor Ronald is AMAZING! Most patience and knowledgeable driving instructor.
He has taught me to be a safe and good driver. I was an anxious driver and felt I would never be able to get my license, but Ronald is awesome. He really gives you confidence and takes the time to explain everything to you.
I passed my G2 today!
I can't thank him enough :)
I would highly recommend learner's academy to anyone.

Just passed my G test yesterday with flying colors. Learner’s Academy is professional, radiates with a genuine passion for teaching, and prioritizes safety. Ronald has that rare talent of being completely honest and supportive at the same time. He told me straight up exactly what I needed to do differently and why in a way that was non-judgmental and made the message stick. His unending patience allowed us to hone in on my weaknesses and capitalize on my strengths. All this plus the price can’t be beat! Totally recommend, wouldn’t change a thing. Thanks Ronald

Learner's Academy - the best service and the best prices. I took lessons for both G2 and G1 and succeeded the exams at the first attempt. My teacher was Albert. His professional yet at the same time friendly approach to teaching gives students confidence. The small size of theory classes allows the trainer to allot enough time for individual explanations, when/if necessary.

Not only will he teach you everything you need to know to pass the road test, but he will also teach the fundamentals that will help you become a great driver. I passed my G2 driving test first time with Learner's Academy driving school and would highly recommend this family-run driving school to anyone living in downtown Toronto. I recommend taking the in-class course with Albert and the in-car lessons with Ronald. The in-class course is worth taking and easy to pass with Albert's extensive knowledge and clear teaching style. I found in-car lessons to be best with Ronald. He was incredibly patient and helped me to learn at my own pace. He made me feel very calm and reassured, and was willing to adapt to my learning style. I practiced in downtown Toronto and had two lessons practicing on the highway. I work 9-5 and Ronald's schedule was very flexible - I was able to take lessons evenings, weekends, and on my days off. The school's pricing was very reasonable compared to the other schools I viewed online. These brothers have decades of driving and teaching experience between them, so you'll be in good hands.

Learner's Academy is amazing! I was able to complete my MTO driver's course over a few short weekends and had Ronald as my driving instructor in the car. He was so patient and knew exactly how to teach according to where you're at with your driving skills.These lessons have stuck with me to this day! I took my G2 test two and a half years ago, using a rental from Learner's Academy to take the test and I passed on the first try! Then, a few weeks ago I had booked my G test and was very nervous about it even though I have been driving for a couple of years. I called Ronald to book a VERY last minute lesson, and even though he was booked for a few weeks ahead (of course, they are incredible and as such, are in very high demand) he provided an over-the-phone refresher which helped me to calm my nerves, as I remembered that I had been taught by the best and can drive with confidence in my abilities. Needless to say, I passed my G test on the first try. You guys are awesome and incredibly talented and I am recommending Learner's Academy to everybody I know!!

An adult driver, vying for her G2 license, I took in-car lessons with Ronald at Learner's. Recommended with high praise from a friend, I took a chance and was so glad I did. He was patient, understanding and took the time to explain all rules I had forgotten but most importantly customizing lessons to my weaknesses. After a month of lessons, I passed my G2 road test with flying colours. Ronald helped me drive with confidence and ease in high traffic situations in the city and on the highway. I took a solo road trip to Montreal and Ottawa within weeks of my G2 and have a newfound freedom I truly owe to Ronald's lessons. Highly recommend!

My partner took driving classes with Ronald to learn to drive as well as prepare for her G2 and G tests. Her driving skills and confidence behind the wheel after each class grew exponentially and were fantastic. After reading countless reviews here and on Reddit, I also noticed their pricing was much better than the "major company" we're probably all thinking of. Plus, the location, just steps from High Park station, was incredibly convenient. He has taught me to be a safe and good driver. I was an anxious driver and felt I would never be able to get my license, but Ronald is awesome. He really gives you confidence and takes the time to explain everything to you.
