Atlantic Driving School Review 2/10 experience this school has one, and only one teacher, Rose. i have no idea how that’s possible, as any other driving school would never put all the work on one person. but with that being said, Rose is an extremely kind woman that deserves no hate, but the stress and discomfort she has from being the only teacher is very obvious. throughout my year long driving courses, Rose got appointment date and times wrong like 30% of the time, and then wouldn’t take any responsibility for it. she has a bunch of peoples appointments to organize, so it’s understandable to make mistakes now and then. However sometimes it almost feels like it’s on purpose, one time i showed up when i was told to show up, and she laughs in my face and asks why im here, and that i heard her wrong. this happened about 5 times, to the point where i asked her to stop getting the dates wrong, to which she said i’m extremely rude and disrespectful. she expects all of your respect, and gives very little to none back. rose has old values and expects to be treated the way she had to treat her elders back then, which is fair but cmon it’s 2025 and we’re both adults, have some respect. her teaching methods are atrocious. Rose will scream at you every time you go driving with her, i can promise you that. wether it’s about your driving or personal things going on in her life, she nonstop yells at the top of her lungs while you’re trying to learn and stay focused on driving. During ‘In-Class’ lessons, you’ll sit down and she’ll read the same text that’s in your book you bought from her, she won’t add any extra info and then never touch upon it again. in conclusion, Rose is a good person, but a bad teacher. if you want to pay someone to yell at you for a year, this is the perfect school for you. if not, i’d recommend Morty’s driving school. I started and ended my driving lessons with Mama Rose’s driving school. She helped me alot. She was tough but eventually it was worth it because the end result came out great. I got 100% in my practical exam. The employee there said that does not always happen. She helped me hours before I started my test that day. I really appreciate this experience. The owner and driving instructor of this small driving school is named Rosie, and she is extremely dishonest! Avoid!! I received a gift certificate in 2013 for driving lessons and tried to claim it this year (2017). I lost the physical certificate however my mother has proof of purchase from the bank that she paid for the course. Rosie did not accept this proof of purchase and insists I need the physical certificate she printed on a regular piece of paper. She pretended to look in her filing cabinet for 3 seconds and said she has no records of it. Then she continued to make excuses claiming it's too late now anyways, too much time has passed. She will not even honour the dollar amount paid for the certificate and accept the difference. Rosie insisted that I will have to pay the whole amount if I wish to start the driving lessons... I know friends that have taken the course with her, and they told me she is horrible. Luckily I have the chance to start fresh somewhere else. You'll know this lady is problematic upon meeting her. Her lack of patience or empathy is obvious. I'd say shop somewhere else, and definitely avoid buying gift certificates! Read Less

Thanks to Atlantique school in Montreal West, I passed the SAAQ exam on my first try! The owner Rosie really means business and shows every student the best practices needed to pass the exam, and to become confident drivers. The scheduling is flexible and allowed me to finish my course in the regular time frame event though I had to reschedule a couple times because of work. Overall: great experience, much more personalized than in the large corporate-type driving schools. Read Less

I looked her up online because I was standing outside of their office on Westminster and she walked up to me and started screaming at le in my face for no reason.
