I went to this driving school and it was NOT a pleasant experience. The theory classroom is quite trashy, but at least not as USELESS as their driving practice classes. The instructors offer very poor services. They don't really teach you anything, or give you any driving tips, but they do suddenly shout at you when you make a mistake (like if I was already an expert driver, why do I pay you to teach me nothing?). The reason why they don't teach you during scheduled classes is that THEY WANT YOU TO PAY LOTS OF EXTRA LESSONS, after completing the scheduled classes, WHICH ARE MORE EXPENSIVE. I did 6 extra classes with them but still didn't learn much. I then switched to an instructor from another school for only two extra hour and passed the driving exam for the first time. The instructor from the other school was much more patient and calm, and gives you sincere tips to the point, and I finally feel that every minute of the class becomes worthy. Also, the exam location with Echo driving school is at Henri-Bourassa, right next to the highway with huge traffic, which might also be one of the reasons of low passing rate. This driving school was fine in the beginning, I had absolutely no problems. The instructors were very helpful and friendly. When I got down to trying to finish my last theory class they told me that the only Module 12 class was already full and they wouldn't be having another one until January 2019. (I don't understand why they refuse to add another class) This was already long overdue for me since I had already prolonged my schooling for a year. My contract had already expired & I was planning on cancelling my contract with Echo to finish at a school that offered a Module 12 class at an earlier date. When I went to Echo's office to ask for the cancellation fee, the woman, Vanessa, told me that I had to pay 50.00 to renew my contract in order to cancel it, which costs an additional 50.00, a grand total on 100.00 to cancel, even when my contract had already expired, but also, I am cancelling because I cannot afford to wait till January to finish getting my license. At that point, I was confused. Why would I have to renew for 50.00 if I wasn't going to be finishing at this school? I asked and her only answer was that they had "rules". The next time I will be going there, I will be asking for the written rules of the contract. If I am proven wrong, then I will have absolutely no problem paying the full amount. However, I find it disgusting that they would continue to add random charges to make more pocket money. Instead of investing in another classroom, or adding more classes, I see no reason for them to be charging more than the cancellation fee. Absolutely terrible service. That woman was giving attitude left and right, and all I was doing was asking simple questions. Very disrespectful, and not very helpful at all. I normally do not complain about places, but this driving school is very demanding in terms of price, and for the prices they are asking for, I would expect a lot more manners from their boss. I had very bad experience with this school. Their group price might seem to be okay in the beginning, but they will try all the means to make you do over hours practice after the whole course, which ends up being way more expensive than others. Plus the instructors are very rude. Read Less

The worst driving school ever in Montreal! The instructors have the reputation of not teaching you anything, just so that you fail the evaluation and pay them for extra practice hours (extra hours are unaffordably expensive). They only have practice route for henri-bourassa exam center, which is next to the high way and easy to get nervous especially during rush hours when people drive aggressively. You can still pass if you are lucky or talented, but the passing rates in other schools are much higher than this school. Read Less

To be fair! It is a good school! The other bad comments are not true, and don't listen to it! I passed my road test with Mr. Yang last week at Dorval one shot and there was another student passed also on the same day!!! Comment on! It is nothing about test center, and it is about your driving skills! Anyway I think It is a very good school and the boss is very very nice gentleman !!! Read Less

I Pass my Knowledge exam 1 shot in 15 minutes. I Pass my actual exam 1 shot. I am very happy with my experience with this school. Do not listen to the bad comments. If you are focused and serious, you will pass it 1 shot like me. Read Less
