Really a very bad experience. I paid for 6 hours of driving, because it is the first time I am going to drive in Quebec and the instructor treated me very badly, he even said that I needed 30 hours!!! as if I had no idea about anything. The school did not give me the opportunity to change the instructor and charged me a fee to cancel the contract that they never explained. Terrible, I do not recommend this school at all. Read Less

Firstly, due to covid, they had to close for 3 months - normal. So, they extended our contracts by 3 months. Sounds reasonable, except that they are now so booked that it often scheduling is only possible three months in advance. So, it took me many many months to schedule my remaining few courses, which caused me to go over-time on my contract for which they charge you extra fees. It feels like they are trying to get money out of you every way they can, and it feels dishonest. It was also unusual that they didn't send out any emails when the school closed, or re-opened. The only way to get information is by calling them. Another big issue is the quality of teaching. The in-class teachers are not passionate about teaching. A lot of the content of the courses is not that helpful for actual driving. We have talked about the perils of drinking and driving soOooo many times, but have spent little time talking about the practical aspects of learning to drive. The teachers often speak to us in a condescending way, as if the students have no desire to drive safely. The excersizes are often painfully obvious, or just not well thought through / are not clear. I found the in-car teachers to be very critical. They focus on your mistakes, and rarely encourage you. I feel they micro-manage your driving, making it hard to develop your own insticts as you advance to higher levels. They have their own brake pedal, which they use excessively - often braking in situations where there was no emergency. I've had them grab the wheel of the car, in situations that did not merit it - for example, while parking on a quiet street with no other cars. I feel these actions hinder my progress as a driver. It’s maybe one of the worst driving school in Montreal. They only communicate with you when you took a class or a driving session. When the school reopened for both of them (COVID-19), I learned it because I asked them and never the other way. I had been told when they would reopen but I never received anything from them until I sent an email. Oh yes, the only thing they know how to communicate is via FACEBOOK!! A social network that is barely used anymore by a lot of people including all their young students who just turned 16 years old!!! Their website is probably dating from the Jurassic when you the options on it. It’s only a series of messages regarding their opening hours. The classroom is absurdly small, you can’t move in it without hitting something. The professors are terrible, in two words : passive aggressive. You can’t understand why the hell they are teaching. Well, after all, they’re good at one thing: reminding you to pay the school. Please, go somewhere else. Read Less

If you're looking for the most frustrating, unprofessional experience, look no further. They charged me more than the amount that I agreed to, the receptionist even admitted to having hidden costs, and refused to honour the original amount. Aside from one other receptionist, everyone I have encountered at this location has been rude and unhelpful. En plus, the theorie instructor is clueless and doesn't know how to teach. He expects you to know the content and explains the material very poorly, in fact, most times he doesn't even explain. What would I be doing in this class if I already know the rules and such of driving? Better off taking your money elsewhere, I wish I did! Read Less

I had a terribly frustrating experience taking my driver's license with Transit and I would recommend you stay clear of this school at pretty much all cost. I was involved with 2 different branches (Hochelaga and Plateau) throughout the process and the picture was the same. The administrative staff (clerks) are disorganized, unclear in their communication and take way too long to answer emails. I experienced classes that were cancelled last minute without notice given as well as classes that somehow never existed once I showed up at the school. This despite myself and 2 other people who also showed up having email proof that there was supposed to be a class. In all cases no real explanation or apology was given. Class availability is seriously limited and meant it took me a year and a half to complete the process. At one point I waited a full 4 months for my next class because no time slot outside of 10AM-3PM was available. Teachers are generally nice but I experienced more than once having a practical driving lesson with a teacher who barely spoke any French or English and with whom communication was obviously practically impossible. The offices and classrooms are also some of the most empty, neglected and uninspiring spaces I have seen in a long time. Even though it is not the end of the world it would have been nice to not feel like you were having your theory classes in a prison. The cherry on the cake was Transit charging me 50$ to transfer my file from one branch to another when I moved during the process. This is in the steep end to begin with, but became borderline insulting when I made it to the SAAQ with my completed class attestation to take my final driving exam. Here I found out Transit had actually never transferred my file and that I was still associated with the old branch. They basically charged me 50$ to do something they then never did. This meant that my attestation was invalid and that I wasted a half day of vacation, 25$ of SAAQ fees, car rental fees and so on. Transit never offered an apology for this nor did the owner/supervisor ever reply to the emails I sent him voicing my dissatisfaction with that situation. They quite frankly did not seem to care at all and it was all my problem. There were many more frustrations that I have not listed here so long story short: do yourself a favor and stay clear of Transit. They provide a seriously shabby service and have sub par business morals. Read Less

The worst driving school. Do NOT waste your time and money here. First thing I asked them when I walked in was do they offer courses in english - she said yes. Second question was if it is durong the week, evening- she said yes. She was obviously just trying to get my money cuz almost ALL of my theory was on the fkn weekend. Which I did not want. But they made me pay first thing right. Also english at this driving school is such a frkn joke. My instructor was HORRIFIC! He couldnt speak english or french and I had to ask him to repeat everything so many times, I never concentrated on driving because I had to usd all of my attention deciphering his lousy speech. Oh then he got fired, I was advised. And then they switched me to another instructor who was much better but still there was difficulty understanding him. The only thing good about this school is the girls who take care of the desk. Always kind and pleasant and trying to help you. But the services here are awful. Especially now Im trying to pay off the rest of what I owe in two payments. But they wont let me book my last driving session unless I pay off everything in on shot. Which is NOT in their contract that I signed. I feel like all they care about is money but when I want to give it to them they are so difficult! Im actually paying for extra lessons at Access on Des Sources... amazing! They are a wonderful school I wish I wouldve went there. Read Less
