This school is completely unprofessional when I signed up I paid for the complete course I then moved away and when I asked them for my file to continue school somewhere else they tried to extort me 300$. Nobody should ever sign up at this school. Take my advice and go somewhere better. I called and left voicemails for over a month before someone even returned my call. Every driver that ever took me on the road was talking about their personal life and playing with their phone. They never helped me with anything. They say you get what you pay, and there is a reason this school offers low prices: they're the worse school ever. If you already know how to drive and are just looking for papers to get your licence, go for it. But if you're just a regular person who really needs to learn, put your money elsewhere. This school is not worth it. The staff is very rude, every time you need to schedule your practice the receptionist treats you as if you were a murderer. The theoric classes are j...ust a guy reading slides, first in French then repeating it in English. I'm halfway on my course and my instructor is totally unprepared, he has zero patience to teach and every time I make a little mistake he gets mad at me. Ah, he finishes my courses earlier than he should too. Of course, in order to pass my exam, I'll have to pay private classes elsewhere, since I'm learning very little with them, so it'll cost me more money than if I had gone to a real school. A éviter!!! Terrible expérience. J'ai pris un cours de conduite manuelle, le prof ne m'a rien expliqué, m'a dit de prendre le volant. C'est correct de sauter tout de suite dans le bain mais quand meme. Il était impatient et vraiment bête, ce qui m'a rendu encore plus nerveuse, je stallais à tous les coins de rue et il me criait apres (non! Pas de meme, pas comme ça!!), a meme été jusqu'à me prendre la main droite assez fortement pour me faire comprendre qu'il trouvait que je shiftait trop brusque à son goût, et l'a fait à quelques reprises. If I could, I would give them zero stars! Please save your money and time, and go somewhere else! This place is the worst! First of all, each driving teacher is worse than the other. They don't follow the steps, they don't actually take you out driving and teach you (I stayed in verdun mostly and lasalle, a joke! There are other places to drive), they don't teach you the rules or even explain driving. The man giving the theory classes, he just reads of the slides and that's it. Half way through the phases, I realized I still don't know how to drive. I got to phase 4 and still don't know blind spot, Lane change, never saw a highway, DIDNT know how to bloody park!!! It's a joke!! They don't take this seriously! You trust them to teach you something that puts YOU and people around you in danger! they hired a new guy, he doesn't belong there. He keeps making remarks how beautiful you are. Puts music on and sings. Takes the wheel and doesn't even teach. I ended up going to a different school and taking extra classes. That other school helped me SO much!!! They are called SAFA driving school, beside Lionel groux metro. MR Rashid helped me SO much. Omg it was a miracle. I took 12 extra car sessions with him and he taught me EVeRYTHING from A to Z. Because of him, I got my liscence! Seriously guys, AVOID ACOM!!!
