I’ve taken a number of lessons at the Ville-Marie Tecnic and the 2 instructors I had were outstanding. Both were informative, patient and knowledgeable. I gained a lot of confidence with my driving from their instruction. Roman is exceptionally helpful in organising the lessons and final use of the vehicles for the driving test. Very grateful for all their help and support.

I was stuck between Tecnic and another school next to Villa Maria metro. I ultimately decided to go with Tecnic because of schedule flexibility. I've been with this school since July, and I have no complaints so far.
The receptionist was very helpful with my questions and my registration.
So far I've had 4 driving sessions with Max. He's very patient, encourages you during the session. Honestly, I don't regret my decision to go with Tecnic. It's very efficient as a school given you can schedule everything online versus on the phone, so it's easy to cancel and rebook.

Just finished my last driving session at Tecnic Ville-Marie. My experience with Tecnic in general has been bittersweet. There were instructors who were impatient and as a student, that made me nervous as well. However, in this particular school, I had an amazing experience. My instructor was very calm and was making constructive comments that helped me improve rather than shaming me for my mistakes which happened in some other branches of Tecnic. I'd recommend this school for road sessions!

I beg you. For your own sanity. Stay away from Tecnic—they’re a complete scam.
They lure you in with short contracts, then cut off access to your lessons after 18 months, knowing full well their lack of instructors will make it impossible for you to book enough lessons in time.
The instructors? Unprofessional doesn’t even cover it—some barely speak French or English, and others actually run personal errands during your paid time. And their online policy? Total cash grab. Any minor connection issue, and they’ll boot you out and force you to pay a missed class fee.

Great receptionist if it's the Slavic gentleman. Very accommodating and helpful. Great instructors too. Not just instructors to the patrons but to the people out on the streets too. Quite few times they rolled their windows down just to tell people who have license and doing it wrong. Respect!

A good school. However they will charge you 30 dollars for a cancellation unless you cancel prior to 48 hours. Out of my 27 sessions I had to cancel one due to an emergency yet they charged 30 dollars...
A good school. However they will charge you 30 dollars for a cancellation unless you cancel prior to 48 hours. Out of my 27 sessions I had to cancel one due to an emergency yet they charged 30 dollars even after justifying my emergency.

Worse service I have ever seen. They booked me for course that I had already made or made me do course that I could not do (they did not respect the SAAQ order), so I went there for nothing and lost a lot of time. This kind os situation happend multiple time (3). Avoid going there.

Just finished my last driving session at Tecnic Ville-Marie. My experience with Tecnic in general has been bittersweet. There were instructors who were impatient and as a student, that made me nervous as well. However, in this particular school, I had an amazing experience. My instructor was very calm and was making constructive comments that helped me improve rather than shaming me for my mistakes which happened in some other branches of Tecnic.
