Bancroft School of Motoring was established in 1994 with a view to filling a void in the market for weekend tuition and door to door collections. One to one tuition was one of the main building blocks of the business. With new test routes and changes in the driving test, the business grew to four dual controlled cars which are worked seven days a week by full time staff. We offer a choice of male or female instructors.

Couldn’t recommend this driving school anymore. Passed today on my first test with only 2 grade 2s !!! Suzanne was my instructor for my 12 lessons. She’s extremely patient (despite all the whiplash I gave her on my first few lessons) and really went out of her way to provide me lessons when I moved away from Tallaght . She relates your personal life into learning how to drive, which makes the parts of driving you need to pass the test easily memorable. Although she was on her holidays, she still replied to my messages about my upcoming text and organized my pre test with her colleague Gary who was also a great instructor. Overall I credit this school and especially Suzanne for my result. Would 1000% recommend !

Suzanne was brilliant when i learned years ago. Passed with them no bother and my nerves were put to ease. Explained things clearly and even sang beyonce to me... to the left to the left by way of tellin me to keep to the left of the road. Never got frustrated with me when a mistake was made.

I could not recommend Bancroft School of Motoring enough, Suzanne was my instructor and she is incredible! She is so patient, she made driving fun and comfortable! I will miss her Suzanne-isms so much...
I could not recommend Bancroft School of Motoring enough, Suzanne was my instructor and she is incredible! She is so patient, she made driving fun and comfortable! I will miss her Suzanne-isms so much and they will stick with me. She was not only my driving teacher, she became a friend! I passed my test first time on Thursday, I am over the moon. A million times, thank you xxxx

Took five pretests with Suzanne,had picked up lots of bad habits over the years and she helped me back on track, I am so so thankful as I passed my test first time doing it, I would recommend Suzanne ...

Can't say enough about these guys! Had a couple of years as a learner, picked up some bad habits and didn't know what was expected of me for the test, but straight away it was all laid out for me in t...
Can't say enough about these guys! Had a couple of years as a learner, picked up some bad habits and didn't know what was expected of me for the test, but straight away it was all laid out for me in the easiest terms. Over the 12 lessons the instructor gently cut out my faults, and improved on my weakness's gradually building my confidence towards test day. The instructor was very calm, reassuring, helpful and easy going. We drove the probable test routes each time with pointers and helpful tips for the test and when it came to the pre-test's they seemed to have it down to a fine art, down to the smallest details, totally nailed it! I passed on my first go, and trust me, it was mainly down to the instructors great help. Bancroft was recommended to me by my sister and I quickly saw why. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone! Delighted with the whole experience AND of course the result!
