I had a great experience with Paul. I completed my IBT course with him and also took a few pre-test lessons.
Paul gives really valuable feedback on how to ride safely and confidently. The atmosphere was always friendly and relaxed. Whenever I made a mistake, he patiently explained how I could improve and gave me clear instructions for next time.

From my very first IBT lesson right through to my pre-test sessions and ultimately passing my motorcycle test, Paul Jenkins and JSM provided an exceptional experience. What really sets Paul apart is not just his knowledge and professionalism, but his genuine personality and the way he makes every lesson feel focused, clear, and enjoyable.
His approach to training is honest, structured, and tailored to the individual. Every step was explained with patience and precision, building confidence without ever feeling rushed. I highly recommend Jenkins School of Motoring! My experience with Paul as my instructor was fantastic.
Paul is an incredibly observant and patient teacher. He has a great knack for identifying both minor habits and major errors that I wasn't even aware of, and he provided clear, actionable advice to help me correct them. Thanks to his expertise, I felt much more confident and prepared behind the wheel. I had a great experience with Paul as my IBT trainer. His focus on discipline and attention to detail taught me crucial safety skills that will stay with me for a long time. He made sure I understood every detail and didn't let anything slide. He's an amazing trainer who genuinely cares about making riders safe.

I couldn't recommend Paul more as an instructor. The lessons are incredibly informative and you get to learn so much from them. If you have any questions to be answered here is the place to look as Paul will answer any and all questions with an extensive amount of knowledge. So glad I chose to go here and I am now looking to book my test feeling confident!

I couldn’t recommend Paul enough. He is incredibly patient and instils a great sense of confidence in students. I really liked his approach which focussed on teaching you to be a safe rider for life knowing that if you learn how to ride well and safely, passing a test will come easily. I went from having never ridden a bike to getting my full A licence in 12 months. I have been riding a motorbike every day since and still find myself following all the routines Paul instilled each time I ride.

I was very fortunate to find Paul Jenkins School of motoring to do my IBT motorcycling training. Paul is a very nice person, very thorough in his methods of training, hard but fair he allows you to make small errors as long as you progress through the sessions. Paul is well experienced in the role of teacher and it shows through his patience as he works with the rider, to help them progress through the modules of training. So if you are thinking of getting motorcycling training , you will not find any better instructor than Paul Jenkins. Top marks Paul and a nice fella.

Paul Jenkins is a very thorough instructor whom demands a high level of adherence to safety and protocol. Can be strict at times but this is a plus when dealing with the dangers of the road as a motorcyclist. Breaks the training up over a number of days rather than rushing through it in two days. This is essential as it allows the student to processes the information presented on the day and to apply it again on a subsequent day.

Signed up with Paul for my IBT direct access and again for some pretest lessons. I'm probably the worst type of student you could have - riding for years in the Ireland and then in the USA but then came back and had to do the training and sit the test - years of bad habits and a lack of patience! Paul is a great communicator and set to work with me immediately gently correcting all the stuff I was doing wrong. Paul made great use of our time to help me improve my riding.
If you are getting on a nike for the first time, or thinking of getting back to it after a few years away, the best decision you can make is to call Paul. Then listen to him and do exactly what he says - you won't regret it.

I just finished my IBT with this chilled out fella. And I can recommend him to others if they put pace and comfort in favor of speed.
Right from the gecko it got clear that we will learn to be good riders instead of getting out the ASAP, which definitely suits me better. Unfortunately if you're one them mad sales guys or learn to do stuff in 20h, please stay clear and don't ruin it to others in case you'll end up in a group.
Once you'll start the lessons do make mistakes. Hopefully you won't crash the bike, but I found that's great way of triggering Paul in sharing his thoughts about important safety information. Because I made quite a few of them, it allowed my head to be filled with relevant information. Now I pay more attention to what's important and what isn't. Strangely enough also when I'm driving a car.
Stay safe out there and enjoy the riding.
The only downside was that I had to censor this review, because the previous version was was too catchy and funny, and was raising too many eyebrows ... sad face.

I was very fortunate to have found Paul Jenkins IBT on line and almost on my doorstep, after initial meeting I knew I had the right instructor. His calm puts you at ease and every thing is explained and reasoned. I was going back to bikes after a 30 year absence and the knowledge I learned in the IBT was brilliant, I loved every minute of it. For anyone considering an IBT course don't look any further, I would highly recommend Paul Jenkins. Well done Paul, keep up the good work and thank you.

I passed my bike test on the 1st Aug '17!
I could not have achieved this without Paul's guidance, persistence and the occasional bolocking !
My advice to ANYONE who rides a bike or thinking of learning to ride is book sessions with Paul Jenkins.
As a learner, he will build your confidence and get you up and running, but you will have to reach a standard before he passes you out..Paul doesn't just tick the box, you as a rider have to force him to ,by achieving the level of competence he seeks.
For the experienced rider...put your pride and ego to one side..go out with Paul.
He will politely, but firmly advise you on any bad habits that my have crept in over the years. If you are prepared to listen,you will come away with fresh and safer approach to riding.
To all riders, if you go out with Paul, my advice is LISTEN to the advice he gives you, apply it to your riding style, then go back for more.

Highly recommended. I have only phoned Paul to make an enquiry about IBT course, but after talking to him for a few minutes i was confident and booked the course straight away and it was starting in 2 days! I had no previous experience which was worrying at the start, but Paul couldn't me more professional about the whole training and taking care of the worries as a beginner, which made it very enjoyable experience. From equipment to working around suitable times for lessons and beeing a great teacher. I have passed my IBT and look forward continuing training with Paul for my full licence. Thanks again Paul

Helpful, thorough and yet challenging. Paul has really laid the foundations for safe riding with an IBT course that was fun while challenging. I’d recommend using Paul if your just learning to ride or have been on a bike for years, his RoSPA Gold experience will push you to improve regardless of your own experience. Looking forward to doing another lesson with Paul in the not to distant future.

I really liked his approach which focussed on teaching you to be a safe rider for life knowing that if you learn how to ride well and safely, passing a test will come easily. I was very fortunate to find Paul Jenkins School of motoring to do my IBT motorcycling training. Paul is a very nice person, very thorough in his methods of training, hard but fair he allows you to make small errors as long as you progress through the sessions. Paul is well experienced in the role of teacher and it shows through his patience as he works with the rider, to help them progress through the modules of training. Signed up with Paul for my IBT direct access and again for some pretest lessons. I'm probably the worst type of student you could have - riding for years in the Ireland and then in the USA but then came back and had to do the training and sit the test - years of bad habits and a lack of patience! Paul is a great communicator and set to work with me immediately gently correcting all the stuff I was doing wrong. Paul made great use of our time to help me improve my riding.

I just finished my IBT with this chilled out fella. And I can recommend him to others if they put pace and comfort in favor of speed.
Right from the gecko it got clear that we will learn to be good riders instead of getting out the ASAP, which definitely suits me better. Unfortunately if you're one them mad sales guys or learn to do stuff in 20h, please stay clear and don't ruin it to others in case you'll end up in a group.

I was very fortunate to have found Paul Jenkins IBT on line and almost on my doorstep, after initial meeting I knew I had the right instructor. His calm puts you at ease and every thing is explained and reasoned. I have only phoned Paul to make an enquiry about IBT course, but after talking to him for a few minutes i was confident and booked the course straight away and it was starting in 2 days! Helpful, thorough and yet challenging. Paul has really laid the foundations for safe riding with an IBT course that was fun while challenging.
