Lehane School Of Motoring is a professional driving school established over 15 years in Tralee, Kerry. We specialise in Car lessons. We can promise you we will set you on the right road when it comes to driving. All kinds of drivers are welcome to receive our high quality driving lessons here in Tralee including novices and anxious students.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Did 5 lessons with Lehane earlier this year. Learnt next to nothing from them.
He was insistent that I did not practice outside of lessons and that he “would tell me when it was time to”. The RSA advise you should do three hours practice between each lesson so his advice is out of line with that. Ignored him and went to practice with my mother after five lessons. Could not even do the basics (I repeat after five lessons!!). I probably learnt more from a few hours practice with my parents than I learnt from five lessons with him. Complete waste of money.
He also wouldn’t sign me off on one of the lessons I had paid €50 for.
In case you think that I am naturally bad at driving, no I am not. I switched to another instructor and passed the test after just six months from starting with that instructor. I passed first time and passed handily enough as well.
He was the same to my sister’s friend. (Telling her not to practice outside of lessons). She was very bad after six lessons and then switched to another instructor where she instantly got much better and she ended up passing soon enough as well.
So in conclusion, AVOID and pick another instructor.

Teddy is a fantastic instructor with an abundance of knowledge. Every lesson he helped cut out all my bad habits while also improving my driving on the road and from that I passed first time :) Highly recommend to anyone looking to start lessons!

Teddy is an excellent teacher and really helped me pass my test. He’s extremely clued in, energetic and knowledgeable. He will make you pass no matter what. Couldn’t recommend more.
