I recently passed my Irish driving test, and I would like to give a huge thank you to my instructor, Francis.
I completed 8 x 2-hour lessons with him, and he helped me improve so much. When I first started, I had very little confidence and was extremely nervous behind the wheel. With Francis’ guidance, patience, and encouragement, I gradually became more comfortable and confident driving.
Francis pushed me to improve, challenged me when I needed it, and helped me overcome my fears. His teaching style gave me the skills and confidence I needed to become a safer driver and pass my test.
I honestly don’t think I would have learned to drive and progressed this quickly without his support and motivation. I highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a professional, supportive, and dedicated driving instructor.
Thank you again, Francis, for all your help!

A huge thank you to Francis! Thanks to his guidance and everything I learned from him, I passed my driving test on my first attempt.
I only took five lessons with him, but they made a huge difference. He was very patient, while also being firm when needed, which really helped me improve my driving skills. Looking back, I’m truly grateful for his approach because it helped me achieve the best possible result.
Thank you, Francis, for all your support, encouragement, and dedication. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is determined to pass their driving test on the first try.

I can’t recommend Francis enough! He was clear and concise with all his instructions and extremely knowledgeable when it came to driving and told me exactly what I needed to do to be able to pass. Francis was a pleasure to learn from and we always had a laugh! If your sitting your driving test soon or need lessons, definitely book in with him :)

Francis is an excellent instructor who knows exactly what is required to pass the driving test.
He knows how to put you at ease when starting out driving as a beginner and will build up your confidence and knowledge to the point that you will be ready to sit your test.
Francis was very accommodating when it came to scheduling lessons and really understands how to fit lessons in with a busy schedule.
The lessons were something to look forward to every week which is a big bonus when starting out. I had no problem asking any questions I had during lessons as Francis created a great learning environment.
I cannot recommend Castletown School of Motoring highly enough!

Thanks to Francis I managed to get my test first time.Francis tailored his lessons and advice in such a way that I learned at a rapid pace (one that suited me as I'd left it quite late in the day to practice for my test). Francis' attention to the detail of my driving, his patience, and his insightful commentary made him an invaluable asset in my passing the test, and I'll remember his advice in what I hope to be a long and safe life out there on the open road! I'd recommend him to anyone.

Francis is a brilliant driving instructor. I am 100% sure that his instruction is the reason I passed my test. On the first lesson he identified everything that was wrong with my driving (things a previous instructor hadn't even noticed or commented on). After three weeks of lessons with Francis I passed my test, which I thought would never happen. He has definitely made me a better and more confident driver. He's also a lovely man and very easy to talk to. I have been recommending Francis to everyone, as it's hard to find a good driving instructor. An excellent teacher. Thank you Francis!

My experience with Francis was very good. He is a great instructor who helped me pass my test. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to drive and also anyone looking for some practice before their test as Francis really prepared me for mine. Lovely man and great instructor.
