Top class instructors from start to finish always supportive and able to build confidence in your ability. Did my full bus D licence with them and enjoyed every minute. Looked forward to the lesson each week not only the serious side of learning how to drive a large vehicle but also the friendly chats with the lads
They support you all the way from day one until your test day making sure even on test day they are there to keep you calm and to be able to demonstrate all the skills you have learned from them
You wont get better instructors than Martin, Phelm and Freddie as well as all the other staff

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Motor ED, county Louth. If you want a driving school that genuinely cares about your progress and instructors that actually want to help and provide constructive criticism, then look no further!
A special mention goes to Phelim, the instructor – he is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Throughout the entire process, he made me feel at ease. Phelim’s calm approach and clear guidance made learning a much easier and more enjoyable experience. You can tell he really knows his stuff and genuinely cares about his students’ success.
Highly recommend this school for all learners, especially if you get the chance to learn with Phelim!

I had the pleasure of learning to drive 'for real' with Catherine. Before meeting her, I was about to give up and truly thought I wasn't capable of driving. I felt scared and insecure. After 12 unsuccessful manual lessons at a "different school", I decided to switch to an automatic and started with Motor-Ed.
There are no words to express Catherine's professionalism; you only realize how incredible she is once you take her lessons. From the very first day, I felt safe, confident, and capable—something I had never felt before. She is incredibly calming, and her lessons are of the highest quality. You learn exactly what you need for the test, and her tips are excellent.
The lessons are so light and positive that the time flies by! I passed my test on the first try, which I never imagined possible. I felt fully prepared because I had learned everything I needed. We did it, Catherine! 💪 Motor-Ed is lucky to have her. I highly recommend this school; the receptionists are also fast, efficient, and provide great service.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Phelim for the incredible support and guidance throughout my training. I’m delighted to say that I passed my bus test on the first attempt, and that wouldn’t have been possible without his expertise and patience.
From day one, Phelim created a calm and encouraging learning environment. His clear instructions, practical tips, and attention to detail made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. He always took the time to explain things properly and made sure I fully understood every aspect of driving safely and professionally.
What really stood out was his ability to stay positive and reassuring, even when I made mistakes. That made the whole experience much less stressful and actually enjoyable. Thanks to his teaching style, I felt fully prepared going into the test—and it showed.
I would highly recommend Phelim to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely dedicated driving instructor. Thanks again for everything! You are a credit to Motor Ed.

I would like to sincerely thank the entire Motor-Ed team for their incredible support, patience, and professionalism. From start to finish, everything was explained clearly and handled in a calm, friendly, and very professional manner.
The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about your success. The training was well-structured, confidence-building, and focused on real-life driving skills, not just passing the test.
I highly recommend Motor-Ed to anyone looking for high-quality training and a professional, supportive team. An absolute 10/10 experience.

From day one, Phelim created a calm and encouraging learning environment. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about your success. The training was well-structured, confidence-building, and focused on real-life driving skills, not just passing the test.
