idrive School of Motoring which is based in Castlebar is headed up and run by Michael who is a friendly, fully qualified and an experienced Instructor. Michael is a RSA ADI Approved Instructor & ISM Certified. idrive aims to give you not just the knowledge to pass your test, but the skills and attitude to stay safe on the roads over your lifetime of driving.

I did a week long intensive driving course after not having driven in 3 years, and passed first time 7 days after my first lesson with Mike.
Mike is methodical, patient and very thorough. He made sure I was extremely comfortable with the basics before making sure that I knew all the test routes. He was very persistent in working on my weaknesses.
I would highly reccomend.

I've thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons from this driving school! They were prompt with their communication, and in replying to any queries I have had in relation to the lessons. They have also worked around any problems and availabilities with scheduling, and have given me timely notice should any issues have arisen beforehand.
I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone who is looking for a competent and honest driving instructor. They have been forthcoming with any and all of the information that they have, and will guide you through any challenges that you might encounter while learning to drive safely and confidently on the roads.

Best driving instructor EVER! Mike is very knowledgeable. He explains everything in detail & makes sure you are fully confident with all test roots. From the very first lesson with Mike he is trying to teach you as much as he can so you can succeed. Mike is very patient, alert & focused. I passed first time & it was all thanks to Mike!

I started driving lessons with Mike, without access to a vehicle of my own or a sponsor to gain any driving experience outside of my lessons. I had taken driving lessons in the past but was very nervous so never seen it through long enough to take a driving test. Mike was so calm and provided clear instruction which put me at ease from the very first lesson. I am delighted to say I passed my driving test first time round. I would recommend Idrive to anyone looking for a highly competent driving instructor who tailors each lesson to your individual needs.

I moved to iDrive from another driving instructor and it was by far the right choice. Michael taught me in a patient and progressive manner and was very flexible. I passed the driving exam in Castlebar on first attempt. I recommend Michael to all who really want to learn to drive well! Thank you!

I was very happy with the lessons and feel I wouldn't have passed my test without them! I Found Michael very good at what he does and made the lessons very fun and interesting! Without realising I had developed a few bad habits which Micheal quickly recognised and gave me a regime to practice. He was professional at all times and his advice was clear and concise and most importantly consistent throughout. I would certainly recommend Idrive School Of Motoring to a friend or colleague who was considering driving lessons. Thanks so much!

I've thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons from this driving school! They were prompt with their communication, and in replying to any queries I have had in relation to the lessons. I started driving lessons with Mike, without access to a vehicle of my own or a sponsor to gain any driving experience outside of my lessons.
