I’m very happy to have passed my Full Licence Test today, and I would like to thank Emi and Alert Driving School for their outstanding support throughout my learning journey.
Emi is an excellent driving instructor, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She explained everything clearly, helped me build confidence behind the wheel, and provided valuable feedback that improved both my driving skills and road awareness.
Her lessons were well structured and tailored to my needs, and she made sure I was fully prepared for the test by focusing on safe driving habits and the areas that examiners assess.
Thanks to Emi’s guidance and dedication, I passed my Full Licence Test with confidence. I highly recommend Alert Driving School and especially Emi to anyone looking for a supportive and highly skilled driving instructor.

I passed my Restricted Practical Driving Test today, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Emi.
Throughout the process, Emi was incredibly patient, encouraging, and understanding. What stood out most to me was how she genuinely remembered each student’s strengths and weaknesses without even needing notes. She always knew which areas I needed to improve on and helped me build confidence step by step.
As a learner driver, you’re there because you don’t know yet — and I really appreciated how patient and calm she was during lessons. Her teaching style made me feel comfortable, supported, and much more connected compared to my previous experiences.
I spent the last three months doing lessons, mock tests, and car rentals for the test, and looking back, I’m truly grateful I ended up learning with her. The mock tests were especially useful and helped prepare me for the actual test environment.
Thank you so much, Emi, for your guidance and support. I’m super happy to finally have passed my restricted test today! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a patient and knowledgeable instructor.

He gave me a 1.5-hour lesson before my test, fixed my broken back light himself, and patiently taught me all my mistakes step by step. Such a humble and smart instructor. I passed my restricted test today, and Victor’s lessons were a big reason why. What stood out for me was his honesty paired with patience. When I wasn’t getting something right, he’d tell me straight, explain it clearly, and then let me practise the manoeuvre again until it clicked. He also picked up on small habits I didn’t realise I had, and built my confidence behind the wheel as we worked through them together. By the time the test came, I felt prepared rather than guessing.

worst of the worst! Made an appointment with Ray a week ago he said to meet at ANZ Bank in Sylvia park. I double checked with him so we are meeting in front of ANZ Bank at Sylvia part? This guy said yes. I arrived at ANZ bank 5 mins earlier and told him that I am already here, in front of ANZ Bank. This guy said he will be 2 mins late. 5 MINS late after the appointment time he called, asked me to meet him at VTNZ sylvia park, and said that's we were supposed to meet. Excuse me??? So why would you say "yes" for so many times when I ask you if we are meeting at ANZ Bank in Sylvia park?? I told him that there will be another 10 mins drive for me. He was like "that's ok, I can wait". Excuse me??? I asked leave from work to run the test with you and every singe minute counts for me. I am not ok to waist time!. Called the 0800 line to complain and cancel the appointment, after I explain the whole story, the guy said "that's ok, I'll tell him." OMG, this is not about simply cancel the appointment, this is a complain. And there is no Apology at all. I would give negative stars if the option is available.

First class and highly recommend Victor and Alert Driving School to everyone who are looking to do lessons and mock tests. Victor is absolutely brilliant and on point to help and equip you in preparation to gain the best results in passing. Victor is very supportive, courteous, patient, friendly, understanding and genuinely cares in wanting to help you pass and making you feel at ease about the test. Never rushed the lesson and always asks if you have any questions or particular driving tasks that you'd like to concentrate on. Top bloke and will definitely be back for a refresher lesson for when I go for my full license. Thanks so much Victor and Alert Driving School. Amazing company and cannot speak highly enough of Victor. The company feedback and their high pass mark rate results speaks volumes of how awesome they are.

I went for a couple of hours of practical driving lessons with Victor before I gave my test at Highbrook.
His thorough knowledge of the exam procedures and the assessments were very helpful.
The simulation tests in and around the testing center gave me confidence to attend the real test.
I cleared my full driving test in the first attempt.
I would surely recommend Alert Driving School to everyone.

Excellent service!! Victor is a very patient, friendly and highly knowledgeable instructor!! Recommend at the highest regards. I took manual car lessons and Restricted licence driving lessons. Genuine, efficient and trustworthy!! Loved my experience and I will always suggest Alert Driving School as first pick to anyone needing driving lessons. I felt comfortable, didn't feel pressured if I made a mistake, I could ask questions and I felt more confident on the road and safe during every lesson. It is worth every penny!!

Throughout the process, Emi was incredibly patient, encouraging, and understanding. Excellent service!! Victor is a very patient, friendly and highly knowledgeable instructor!! Recommend at the highest regards. I took manual car lessons and Restricted licence driving lessons.
