As my kids are learning to drive, I’ve been reflecting on when my mum gifted me driving lessons with Allan’s Driving School for my birthday. Every Saturday, Allan would pick me up and we’d head out for a lesson. I learned so much and genuinely looked forward to each one. Allan was incredibly patient, calm and encouraging. Now that I’m teaching my own kids, I realise just how difficult it is to stay that calm! I often find myself reminding them of the lessons Allan taught twenty three years ago. Thank you, Allan, for giving me the skills and confidence to become a safe driver. Those lessons have stayed with me, and I’m now passing them on to the next generation. Incredibly poor service from Allan. On my second lesson with him, he told me I will never be able to drive, specifically a manual. This was due to me advising that I was initially more comfortable in a automatic. Not how you keep customer's around, especially how he literally said that I was bulls*****g him about the fact that there were less automatic vehicles in my area. I do not recommend Allan. There are better instructors around that are more professional and understanding. I obtained a full licence after learning elsewhere soon after. Read Less
