I chose this course because it was advertised as a session where you learn what you need and complete the BHST test within the same lesson. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. During my training, I felt uncomfortable with my instructor’s teaching style. He was rigid, not particularly encouraging, and spent a significant amount of time telling unrelated stories, which reduced the amount of practical instruction time I received. When I expressed that I was feeling stressed about how the session was going, his demeanor shifted and he became more casual, including asking personal questions about whether I had a boyfriend or husband, which I found inappropriate in a professional training environment. Afterward, I contacted the business to explain my experience. I requested to complete my training with the same instructor simply to avoid having to adapt to a new bike and teaching style. It took nearly a week to receive a response, and I was offered a $10 discount to rebook, which did not feel proportionate to the concerns raised. I’m sharing this so other women considering motorcycle training can make an informed decision.
