With Faeez teaching me, I have passed my driver's licence test first try with a great score. 2 months ago, i didn't know anything about driving. Faeez is a fantastic instructor.
He taught me everything from the basics, all the way to niche, commonly unknown things about driving. Not only will he make you a great driver, he will teach you everything you need to know to pass the driving test. That not only obviously includes needing to know how to drive, but also a lot of information only he would know because of how closely connected he is to the driving licence testing centre. I gained so much knowledge about things you wouldn't even think of needing to do in the exam that I'm sure many other driving instructors wouldn't know to mention.
If you want to pass your driver's easily and become a great driver, this is the driving school for you.

I passed my driving test! I highly recommend Faeez to anyone looking for a reputable instructor. He accurately identified my areas for improvement and knows the test routes so he prepares me thoroughly for the big day. Game day is all about nerves but Faeez helped me manage them effectively, being well prepared removes the unnecessary stress. Thank You!

I honestly can’t recommend Mother City Driving School enough. From the very first lesson, Faeez was incredibly patient, calm, and kind, which made such a big difference to my confidence behind the wheel. He didn’t just teach me how to drive, he genuinely cared about my progress and my success.
What really stood out is how he went out of his way to help me pass my driver’s test. He took the time to explain things clearly, never made me feel rushed or judged, and always encouraged me
For context, I failed my driver’s test twice at my previous driving school, which was really discouraging. But with his guidance, support, and belief in me, I passed my test on the first attempt with him.
If you’re looking for a driving instructor who is patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in your success, look no further.

Yay, I passed my driver's test today! I started lessons with Faeez in 2023 after many attempts to find a driving instructor who could guide me as an individual, rather than treating me like every other learner, because all learners are different. Faeez has been an amazing driving instructor—very professional and attentive. As someone who suffers from anxiety, he was able to help me manage that while driving, and I truly appreciate the efforts he made to make me feel comfortable and secure on the road. I would recommend Mother City Driving School to anyone, family, and friends, because this journey is not easy, but having the right instructor can make a world of difference in getting your license. I had a bad experience with another driving instructor which destroyed my driving confidence. Mother City Driving School completely restored my confidence. Faeez's patience is limitless. He is really kind and courteous and very flexible, going out of his way to make time to teach you. Not only did I get my license, but I am now a confident and capable driver. I cannot thank Mother City Driving School enough!

Thank you Faeez! After having a horrible experience with another Cape Town CBD driving school, I was quite anxious in starting lessons again and trusting an instructor. Faeez was patient in teaching me exactly how to pass (first time with Mother City driving!!), and become a good, responsible driver.
He is courteous, does not miss lessons, keeps contact, and is always willing to share his knowledge that comes with years of teaching hundreds of learner drivers. He pays attention to where learner drivers need more experience (parking, traffic, urban roads, etc.), and isn't afraid to say so, so there's no wasted lessons and money. He ensures we not only practice on the "test routes", but also gain experience in driving other routes (for me that was from Town, to Hout bay and Claremont) as we will all need to.
We used an Etios for lessons, the car was great to drive with (unlike some other instructors who have various car issues during lessons) and is obviously well looked after. Just on a side note, some of my previous instructors charged less, and it showed in their lack of technique and professionalism. Faeez charged R160 per lesson when I had lessons, which was more than reasonable. For the amount of damage I'm sure learner drivers do to a car, and his high standard of teaching, his lessons are worth much more.
I can't recommend this guy enough, so if anyone is looking for a driving school, this guy really is the one to go with.

Mother City Driving School Cape Town worked for me! The instructor was courteous and professional at all times and was always punctual. I had very little available time to practise my driving skills but felt that I was in good hands with a friendly and competent instructor at my side. I would definitely recommend this driving school to those young professionals seeking to pass out without breaking the bank.

I can confidently say that this is an awesome driving school. driving instructor was easy to talk to and easy to work with. I had an amazing learning experience, with an instructor (Faeez) who was also very cognisant of all the anxieties a learner comes with. his level of patience and teaching techniques were awesome. I had gone to driving schools before and actually, much time and money wasted there coz at Mother city driving school is where I actually learnt how to drive. so if you want to learn how to drive (legally and safely), I recommend you get in touch with them and go get that license.

With Faeez teaching me, I have passed my driver's licence test first try with a great score. 2 months ago, i didn't know anything about driving. Faeez is a fantastic instructor.
He taught me everything from the basics, all the way to niche, commonly unknown things about driving. Not only will he make you a great driver, he will teach you everything you need to know to pass the driving test. That not only obviously includes needing to know how to drive, but also a lot of information only he would know because of how closely connected he is to the driving licence testing centre. I gained so much knowledge about things you wouldn't even think of needing to do in the exam that I'm sure many other driving instructors wouldn't know to mention.
If you want to pass your driver's easily and become a great driver, this is the driving school for you.

I honestly can’t recommend Mother City Driving School enough. From the very first lesson, Faeez was incredibly patient, calm, and kind, which made such a big difference to my confidence behind the wheel. He didn’t just teach me how to drive, he genuinely cared about my progress and my success.

Yay, I passed my driver's test today! I started lessons with Faeez in 2023 after many attempts to find a driving instructor who could guide me as an individual, rather than treating me like every other learner, because all learners are different. Mother City Driving School Cape Town worked for me! The instructor was courteous and professional at all times and was always punctual.
