I had the pleasure of working through my B+E with Gordon. He inspired confidence and his instruction methods gelled very well with me. This led to me feeling relaxed and prepared for the test, which I passed first time and with no faults. I am a lady closer to 60 than 50 , so was worried about learning to control a trailer. I found Gordon of Stonehaven Trailer Training Services to be Professional Calm and Kind. First time pass with only three faults after completing the two day course, I really enjoyed the course and Gordon is an excellent teacher. Gordon has a first class set up with a yard laid out like the test centre and his trailer and towing vehicle really give you a proper feel for driving a rig of a decent size and weight. Gordon has a great wealth of knowledge and tips which prepares you well for the test, including skills you can use to improve your day to day driving. 1st time pass with 2 faults. I really enjoyed the 2 day course, Gordon really knows his stuff, he is very easy to get along with and he has a great nack at making you feel relaxed and confident. He has a purpose built private spot where you can practise the reversing manoeuvres, once out on the road he gives excellent guidance about speed, control and observation. I must admit I adended the course thinking that I was a very good driver and just needed to go thru the formalities in order to pass my trailer test. Gordon has undoubtedly improved my driving and I have realised myself how many bad habits I have picked up over the years. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who needs to pass this test but also for anyone who may need a refresher. Overall an enjoyable interesting couple of days, many thanks Gordon. Simple, to the point instruction pitched at the correct level. First time pass with only one driver fault after a 1 day course with my test at the end. A wee 2 hour assessment drive beforehand to see what was needed. Clear, unflappable, fountain of handy hints and tips. Right up my street. I passed first time on 21st Feb with only 4 faults after doing the 2 day training course. Gordon is very easy to get along with and makes you feel at ease behind the wheel. Gordon trains you to a very high standard and ensures you feel completely prepared, giving you the opportunity to work on things you find difficult - for me, this was reversing... we practiced until I felt confident about it. I passed first time - thanks to Gordon and his standard of training. He was very patient. He has a test site all laid out so you can practice and perfect the manoeuvres. Can't fault his dedication. Was a pleasure to be taught by Gordon. He eases any concerns or problems tou would have had and not only do you learn to use a trailer, he fine tunes your own driving skills.
