Bryan is a great instructor for anyone looking for that first time pass. He’s taught me not only how to pass the test but to drive safely and confidently for the rest of my driving days. Cherry on top of the experience of learning to drive with Bryan was my first time pass with 2 minor faults.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude and praise towards Bryan.
I started driving in rural England in 2019, just before covid, and was unable to take a test before going away to university. I lost all ability, especially my confidence behind the wheel. Fast forward to March 2026, having passed first-time, and completed lessons with Bryan – I have never felt so competent and confident driving a car.
Not a lesson went by where Bryan and I did not share a laugh (or ten!); he is an incredibly personable, down-to-earth guy. Not only did I feel safe behind the wheel, but I felt welcomed and accepted, making lessons so enjoyable, and a highlight of my week for the last 8 months.
Bryan’s teaching method goes much further beyond the necessary skills to pass a test. He adapts his lessons to suit you and takes the time to know what works for you as an individual. You come out the other end with real-life driving skills, and a positive attitude to driving.
Originally learning to drive on country lanes and in 30mph areas with my previous instructor, driving in Milton Keynes was incredibly daunting to me at first. Bryan’s attention to detail, patience, and infectious confidence has equipped me with the knowledge and skills that I need to be a safe, assertive, driver in all conditions. Driving on 70mph roads would have petrified me, but after learning with Bry, I am competent in any scenario, and I now have a weirdly large love for roundabouts. You learn to be in control, have great awareness of your surroundings, be prepared, and most importantly - be safe. Bryan’s car is great fun to drive – it is safe, smooth, comfortable, always sparkly clean, and equipped with the best passenger you’ll ever have.
He is more than just a driving instructor, he is an empathetic, kind, and hilarious guy who radiates joy, resilience, and a passion for driving.
It has been, from the bottom of my heart, such a privilege to learn to drive with Bryan. I am incredibly grateful for our hours of laughter, discussion, and of course – top-quality teaching, that I will remember each time I get behind the wheel of a car. I did not think that I would get to this point, have the confidence to drive alone, and pass first-time with such ease. The only negative is that I am now continuing my driving without the legend himself in his red Mazda!
I could talk forever about what a joy it has been to be one of Bryan’s pupils. If you’re looking to learn to drive, I cannot emphasise enough that he is the man for the job.
Thank you so much for making learning to drive such a fun activity, Bry, you are one-of-a kind, and an absolute legend.

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Bryan. His teaching ability is truly outstanding — he explains everything clearly, stays patient no matter how many questions I asked, and always helped me feel calm and confident behind the wheel. He has a friendly, easy-going personality with a great sense of humor which made every lesson super enjoyable and I always looked forward to the next session.
Bryan doesn’t just teach you the essentials to pass your test, he teaches you how to drive safely, responsibly, and effectively for life. He builds habits that make you a capable and confident driver long after the test is over.
Another huge bonus was his car. It was always spotless, reliable, and incredibly smooth to drive, which made learning so much easier. The vehicle’s responsiveness and stability helped me feel in total control at all times.
Thanks to Bryan’s guidance, I passed both tests first time. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, supportive, and truly exceptional driving instructor.

I passed my driving test first time today with Bryan from Evolve Driving School, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the very first lesson, Bryan made me feel completely at ease. He’s got a great sense of humour and is really easy to get along with, but underneath all of this, he is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Each lesson was the perfect balance between being fun and focused, which made every lesson something I looked forward to.
What I really liked was that Bryan doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test, he teaches you how to be a confident, safe and skilled driver for life. He explains things really clearly, and if you make a mistake, he takes the time to go over it so you actually understand what went wrong and how to fix it.
His car is amazing to drive, really smooth and comfortable which made me feel confident behind the wheel. By the time my test came around, I felt completely ready, and that’s all down to Bryan’s teaching style.
If you’re looking for an instructor who’s genuinely passionate about what he does, who’ll make you laugh, believe in you, and help you become the best driver you can be, I can’t recommend Bryan enough. Thanks again Bryan!

Jokes around with you when he can but is hard on you when he needs to be! Definitely knew how to get the best out of me, even when I didn’t think I could do something he made me believe in myself
Passing your test is one thing but I feel ready to go on the road myself aswell! Bry teaches you how to be a good driver rather than just pass your test!
We had great laughs as well so will miss seeing him so regularly!Thank you for putting up with me I know that’s a challenge in it self and thank you for teaching me how to drive!!

Cheers Bryan for the help couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Because of you I passed first time and because of the advice I was given I feel this will make me a great driver. I would recommend this to anyone as my experience was great and I highly appreciate the help. It is also great for the money. Evolve driving school is in my opinion the best for the money.

I passed my driving test first time today all thanks to Bryan at Evolve.
I cannot recommend him enough! Bry helped me so much throughout the whole learning process and not only did I feel ready for the test but I also feel so ready to go out driving on my own, thanks to the preparation he gave me for any real life situations that I may encounter.
He encouraged me to push myself in lessons and did so whilst having a laugh and keeping me calm. He has such a great way of explaining things which helped massively with things I couldn’t quite grasp the concept of.
Not only have I come away from our lessons like a capable driver, I have also had lots of fun learning.

With both my older brother’s having already passed first time with Bryan, he was the only instructor my parents were ever going to trust to teach me. I’m delighted to have also passed my test first time today with Evolve, allowing Bryan to complete his hat trick with a collection of only 10 minors between us!
Bryan is a brilliant instructor who is calm, patient and extremely knowledgeable (lots of exclusive tips). He always pushes you to be better, but you never feel over-pressured or unsafe. He prepares you completely for the test, not rushing you, but (unlike some instructors) never making you pay for extra lessons you don’t need.
Most of all, Bryan is a brilliant guy. You’ll never be bored, and he’ll always make you laugh which is great for any nerves you have. Thanks for everything Bry! I’ll miss our Thursday evenings together.

I passed my driving test first time yesterday at Bletchley test center and I couldn’t be more excited about my experience and achieving the end goal. I had so many difficulties including my nerves at the start but Bryan has been very patient and persistent to get me to good driver standard.
He has tailed his style of teaching to push and encourage me to be a more relaxed and safer driver. He has pushed me in every lesson to get me to where I need to be and gives a lot of honest feedback so I was very much aware of what we needed to do and focus on to get the job done. I will highly recommend Evolve I have had a good experience and results.

Best driving school I've been with, after going through a couple of not so great driving schools I finally found a company who made me feel at ease and confident as a learner. Unfortunately I failed my first test not as a fault of theirs but from not having lessons for a couple weeks as before hand as was changing companies but today I passed and it was a great feeling! Cannot thank Colin my instructor but also Bryan for the support and confidence in me passing! Would highly recommend evolve to anyone and everyone learning to drive as a first time learner or someone wanting to change instructors. Both are so lovely and easy to get along with but also motivational as they are confident in you and defiantly know what they are on about!

Happy to have passed my driving test today, and very pleased to have done so with Evolve Driving School.
After weeks on end having problems with another driving school and not receiving lessons. I came across Bryan and Evolve and thankfully he was able to fit me in on such short notice albeit how busy he was.
The way Bryan teaches in my opinion is how a great instructor should be, very relaxed when talking and giving instructions, knowledgeable, confident, focused, understanding and very down to earth. Even when making mistakes Bryan is very patient and gives great tips and lessons on how to rectify and improve. Always helps being able to have a laugh and enjoy learning to drive, which is exactly what Bryan did and made my experience of becoming a fully qualified driver all the more fun and memorable. And it really shows how passionate he is towards helping you learn as a driver.
For anyone out there looking for a great driving school that gives good value for money and more importantly a very reliable, honest and fun instructor then I could not recommend Bryan and Evolve Driving School anymore.
Thank you Bryan for giving me more freedom and some good memories I can look back on.

From the very first lesson, Bryan made me feel completely at ease. I cannot recommend him enough! Bry helped me so much throughout the whole learning process and not only did I feel ready for the test but I also feel so ready to go out driving on my own, thanks to the preparation he gave me for any real life situations that I may encounter.
