Dear Mr Brian Sellar,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you. You're not just a driving instructor; you're a truly good-hearted person.
My journey with you began after a disappointing experience with another instructor. Even though you initially declined to take on new students, you gave me a chance, and that decision changed everything.
Your qualities as an instructor are exceptional. Your patience, which endured through my countless attempts, never ceased to amaze me. You took the time to understand the root of my driving challenges and provided ingenious solutions, like the reference point that made parallel parking a breeze.
Your cooperative nature made each lesson a valuable learning experience. You not only demonstrated techniques but also patiently explained and simplified them when I struggled.
What sets you apart is your willingness to delve into my thoughts and concerns. "Can I ask you a question?" became my mantra during our lessons, and you always answered with a smile. Your humor, like the time you joked about the police catching me for asking too many questions, lightened the mood and made learning enjoyable.
Yesterday, on 21/09/23, I achieved a significant milestone by passing my driving test, and it's a day I'll always cherish. You've been an incredible instructor and a source of support throughout this journey.
Thank you for your dedication, guidance, and the countless questions you've patiently answered. I'm proud to have been your student, and I'm grateful for everything you've taught me.
Best wishes for your retirement, and may your future be as bright as the road ahead.
Sincerely,
