I had the worst experience with Suja and would not recommend him to anyone. I had countless lessons with him and eventually lost count. The reason I stayed with him for so long was because I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt. I understand everyone has bad days, so after a poor lesson I would tell myself that the next one might be better. I also didn’t want to keep changing instructors and feel like I was starting from scratch each time. Unfortunately, things never improved. Despite the countless lessons I had with him, I still had not properly learned important skills such as parking and manoeuvres. I often felt criticised rather than taught. Instead of calmly explaining situations and helping me understand the road, he would usually only explain things after I had already made a mistake, often in a way that felt more like being told off than being instructed. Every mistake was met with sighing, frustration, or harsh comments, which made me nervous and affected my confidence behind the wheel. After taking a break from lessons for around four months due to personal reasons, I returned and was criticised for not having lessons during that time. Whether the reason was personal, financial, or anything else, I felt that was none of his business and completely unprofessional. The biggest issue happened before my driving test. My original test was booked for July, but I managed to bring it forward to 15 June after a cancellation became available. I informed Suja a full week in advance and he acknowledged it. At no point did he tell me that he thought I was not ready or that he would refuse to let me use his car. Then, at the end of my lesson on 14 June, less than 24 hours before my test, he suddenly told me I was “nowhere near ready” and refused to let me use his car. Whether he believed I was ready or not is his opinion, but leaving a student with less than a day’s notice before their test is completely unacceptable. If he genuinely believed I wasn’t ready, he had an entire week to tell me and give me time to make other arrangements. Instead, I was left stressed, upset, and desperately searching for another instructor and car at the last minute. Fortunately, I found an instructor who agreed to give me a mock test. What shocked me was that in just ONE lesson, he taught me manoeuvres, parking techniques, test advice, and driving tips that had never been properly explained to me despite the countless lessons I had already paid for with Suja. I passed the mock test and was allowed to use that instructor’s car for my driving test the next day. I then went on to pass my driving test with ZERO driving faults. Being told I was “nowhere near ready” less than 24 hours before my test, only to pass with a completely clean result the very next day, speaks for itself. The replacement instructor taught me more in one lesson than I felt I had learned in all my time with Suja. Overall, I found the teaching style discouraging, overly critical, and ineffective. The way my test situation was handled caused unnecessary stress and showed a lack of professionalism. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for driving lessons. Honestly, the best driving instructor! He was incredibly patient with me and always explained things clearly and directly. He helped build my confidence and encouraged me not to give up, even when I doubted myself. His teaching style is clear and straightforward, which made it much easier to understand and improve on my driving faults. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive. Honestly, I cant recommend Easy As ABC driving school enough. Shujah was so patient and calm which helped my confidence grow with every lesson. I have a tendency to flap and overthink and iniitally found driving very overwhelming, this was never an issue with Easy As ABC and he helped me focus and gave me the skills I needed to pass. Super friendly and a genuine nice guy. If your in the peterborough area amd looking for an instructor, then I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Read Less
