Great instructor I 100% recommend. His teaching is amazing and helped me to pass first time. He is also friendly and loves cracking jokes to help calm your nerves. Thanks Ian!

With Ian’s instruction, I passed my practical first time today. Ian has been amazing, very supportive and patient when I didn’t get things first time, always willing to explain and demonstrate as many times as it takes. His relaxed attitude combined with huge experience makes every lesson a pleasure. I can’t recommend Ian highly enough to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Brilliant driving instructor - would highly recommend ⭐️🚗
Ian is a very friendly person and does everything to make you feel at ease. He has a relaxed yet effective form of instruction. He cracks a lot of jokes and has funny stories and one liners that he uses to help you remember different parts of driving! ✅
He is very experienced, has been teaching for over 30 years and that really shows. I had to move instructors twice due to moving areas for work and Ian’s teaching was my favourite and he honed in on my weaknesses but also laid out the key parts and rules clearly. He also uses hand drawn diagrams to help you get a better understanding of the road which is useful! 📝
He always said that he likes to prepare his pupils so that he can, at minimum, guarantee them a 95% chance of passing. He is kind in his teaching approach and he will correct your mistakes instantly and put you in similar situations so that you learn and don’t do the same in the exam! 👍🏻
I would recommend Ian if you’re looking to start your journey with driving! 🚙

Just passed my test with Ian, what a bloke!. I came to Ian after farm and off-road driving since I was 12, 11 years later I was a total mess I couldn’t drive properly at all, In such a short space of time 2 months to be exact Ian had me passed and polished to perfection, I had 1 minor, to have my mistakes wiped out and re taught in 2 months takes one amazing teacher, he is very layed back and also very firm, with a military background he is very organised when he is teaching and if I made a mistake he would go over it and help me through with no stress or worry worth every penny!!

Honestly the worst instuctor I've had. He's inconsiderate, unreliable and over priced for what he is. My experience in our first lesson he showed up 20 mins late with another student driving, she drove for a further 20 mins (in my time) to drop her off. When I finally had the wheel he insisted on stopping after every other corner to talk for a unbelievable amount of time. And my second lesson he doesn't even turn up, ignored my text and phone calls for 45mins before he tells me that he's sorry and he don't want to work weekends no more. So anyone reading this... don't bother! unless you like setting your money on fire

Ian has been amazing, very supportive and patient when I didn’t get things first time, always willing to explain and demonstrate as many times as it takes. Honestly the worst instuctor I've had. He's inconsiderate, unreliable and over priced for what he is. My experience in our first lesson he showed up 20 mins late with another student driving, she drove for a further 20 mins (in my time) to drop her off.
