My driving instructor from Accelerate told me it was not necessary to signal when going into roundabouts and because of this I failed my driving test. I was always signalling before, he told me I would fail for unnecessary signalling. ALWAYS SIGNAL PEOPLE!!!!!!! Read Less

I passed my driving test with Gillian from Accelerate. She is a fantastic driving instructor with a very good skill set and can explain things really well. She is extremely patient, friendly and actually made learning to drive fun. Even when things didn’t go quite right during lessons, Gillian wasn't afraid to tell me that I made a mistake but also told me how to correct it. The feedback I was given after each lesson was very helpful to look at areas where I performed well and areas that I needed to work on. This company will cancel your lesson and NOT TELL YOU IT'S CANCELLED then have the cheek to CHARGE you for the lesson and refuse to give you a refund. Twice they cancelled lessons without telling us and my girlfriend say waiting on the instructor to arrive. The worst company I have ever dealt with and would prepare yourself to be out of pocket if you use them. A complete lack of organisation throughout stay well clear. Read Less

Extremely unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. I phoned Accelerate to check availability for driving lessons, they seemed pleasant enough and promised to call back later in the day to confirm a starting date for the following week. Didn't inform my mum or I that there was a six month validity on taking lessons which had been block bought. My mum got them for me as a birthday gift. I'm very nervous about learning to drive and took a while to pluck up the courage only to be told they were gone. Money taken, no lessons, no refund. Ridiculous. We can't recommend Accelerate Driving Tuition enough. We thought their approach to learning to drive made things very easy to pick up and our daughter passed her test in no time, she even had a Motorway Lesson in and around Glasgow when she passed just to make sure she was confident enough.
