Took my son today for his 13th birthday, he absolutely loved it and Gary (his instructor) was lovely! Alex has autism which I forgot to mention probably because he is so talkative! I'm sure he chewed Gary's ears off, Alex was abit worried at first, but he quickly got into the swing of things! He's so chuffed with himself , absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back! Well what a very different experience when all are in a better mood! I was there waiting to jump several weeks ago with one of our service user's. (We support adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues, we are called People and Gardens)One of his dreams was to jump out of a plane! We can now both tick it off our list!! I would say the communication could be improved upon, especially if you're due to jump in the afternoon and they still have the morning jumpers waiting to go. If you are planning on supporting someone with a learning difficulty please ensure you make it VERY clear, my manager both emailed and telephoned to discuss this in detail. When we arrived several weeks ago it was not a pleasant experience for either of us. The service user became very stressed as did his parents and i can only say that i felt like id been told off by the older woman running it. As far as they were concerned none of them had been made aware of the situation. This was obviously not true, we felt very let down by their behaviour and attitude, we were unable to jump that day due to the wind. Theres alot of waiting around, waiting for the weather. Based on the experience today it would have been 5* however due to our over all experience its going to have to be 3*. But, i will say the guys were lovely today and the views were amazing!
