Actually thought I had left a review about 6 years ago, seems I didn't. Couldn't recommend high enough. I needed my license for a job I was going for at the time. I was in the role temporarily before it was advertised permanent. This was my only issue, so the pressure was on. I honestly was a screw driver, bad, tunnel vision and not taking in my environment. John was able to pin point my faults and used excellent techniques to help me overcome my faults. I passed my driving test, got my license and secured the permanent post. Went for my motorcycle cbt with John and just utterly hated the experience didn't take the time to teach and didn't care that I paid for a geared cbt just threw me right onto an automatic wouldn't recommend this place to anyone waste of time effort and money Read Less

Even I am a Hungarian and my English is not so good and I am a nervous-type guy, I have passed my practical test at the first time. I am from a completely different country, different language and until I sat next to John in his car, I had never driven before. He has shown me everything step by step, everything from the basics to the different situations and manoeuvres. So if you are looking for the bests, I think John is definitely one of them or the very best. (Last tip from me: Do not need to worry about and being nervous on your test. Begin to learn, practice as much as you can and when you will feel that you are ready, give a try. The test is similar to your usual lessons, just a bit shorter. That is it. Good luck) Read Less

From having my lessons years ago, going from a few instructors, I have not been driving for years, I finally plucked up the courage and contacted your good selves. My instructor was Emmett Clarke, only a few words can describe Emmett, kind, caring, considerate and of course good craic, I passed my test today with only 6 minor faults. From the moment I phoned I felt like I was taken care of, withing a day of phoning had my cbt booked for the next day. Both myself and my wife got taught by John. My wife passed her CBT first due to john's expertise and patience. I am doing my direct access and hope to qualify soon. We were made to feel welcome and relaxed within a few minutes of meeting John. If you want to be taught by a genuine, down to earth, highly skilled instructor, look no further. John has everyhing you need from protective clothing, gloves and helmets and bikes from 125cc to proper big bikes to teach you on. I can't recommend The Car College highly enough. Went to the car college to do my cbt on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th of April my instructor was john brilliant guy and gave you time to learn and everything he showed me was done the right way and professional would definitely recommend the car college to anyone who wants to learn great job as i passed the cbt lol john is the man :) Read Less

I decided to go for the special offer and what followed was 5 pleasant and enlightening driving lessons.
