I had been to Cookstown DVA for my driving test. This is a small centre with decent facilities.
The driving route in Cookstown has different types of roads, including single carriageway roads, country roads, 1 roundabout, and few mini roundabouts. There's also a busy town center. Make sure to practice on this route before your test.
I would like to commend the driving examiner, Nathan, for his professional behavior. What truly stood out was his ability to initiate and maintain a friendly conversation both before and during the test, which eased my nerves and got me confident about the test. Moreover, he also answered all queries I had with regards to the test.

On my first test I failed because I was doing 60 M/PH instead of 45 M/PH on dual carriageway. I passed on my second test, all thanks to my examiner Nathan Kelly. He is the youngest of the examiners, he is such a good person. He knows how to make the pupils comfortable while taking their tests, no pressure whatsoever. I give 7 stars to him, keep up the good work Nathan

Results depends on personal impression of yourself if they gonna like you or not. I failed on things that I should not fail and even my mechanic was suprised. My friends they were passing even with worst things than mine so I think he failed me because I could not understand him sometimes (Im not local and English is not my native language and I just had the bad luck to meet a bad guy like 3 years ago) and 3 years ago they broke my car by piercing the bottom of my car by screwdriver coz I forgot to do a mot wash when my car was mot ready. Im never going to book a mot in cookstown again.

We booked an appointment today around 11am for evening time at 18:35 and no one called or let us know that the vehicle centre will be closed!! Shame on yous. I've paid for it and I've got a confirmati...
We booked an appointment today around 11am for evening time at 18:35 and no one called or let us know that the vehicle centre will be closed!! Shame on yous. I've paid for it and I've got a confirmation email as well but when we came there it was closed. I know its because of the weather but they should keep an eye on their appointments and do something if they have someone coming down not just close the gate and run home. Another thing, we went for mot test there were a few things bad and also front brakes so we went for a retest and there was again something new wrong and rear brakes!! 3 days apart!!! Just taking money out of people if there was a certain problem they should check that and not be looking new ones!! Shame shame shame worst place ever

We booked an appointment today around 11am for evening time at 18:35 and no one called or let us know that the vehicle centre will be closed!! Shame on yous. I would like to commend the driving examiner, Nathan, for his professional behavior. Results depends on personal impression of yourself if they gonna like you or not. I failed on things that I should not fail and even my mechanic was suprised. My friends they were passing even with worst things than mine so I think he failed me because I could not understand him sometimes (Im not local and English is not my native language and I just had the bad luck to meet a bad guy like 3 years ago) and 3 years ago they broke my car by piercing the bottom of my car by screwdriver coz I forgot to do a mot wash when my car was mot ready.
