Paul is a great driving instructor. He’s always very chatty, patient, and a good laugh, which makes every lesson enjoyable. He really makes you mindful of the areas you need to work on and will keep working on your mistakes with you until you get them right. I was only a few lessons in when Paul told me to book my test, which gave me a lot of confidence in my driving. I highly recommend Paul to anyone looking for a great instructor! Read Less

Puts in No effort to teach. Deliberately halts your progress and is just there to entertain himself. Distracted me with phone videos while I was driving, made it very dangerous and hard to focus. I was driving perfectly for the first 7 lessons, but when I mentioned booking the driving test Paul told me a “different way of driving” where he deliberately tells you the wrong method and timing of pressing and releasing the brake and clutch, causing you to stall everywhere. 3 of his students said the exact same thing about Paul telling them a “different way of driving” once they mentioned booking the test. We all eventually worked out that Paul is doing it so you mess up and stall on the tests, and fail, causing you to have to pay for more lessons with him. Paul told me to book a lesson on any date and he’d 100% be available for it. He wouldn’t let me phone him ahead of time to confirm with him, he insisted on me NOT telling him in advance. But when I booked the test, he refused to work that day, so I lost the money. Paul said r*cist comments every time we drove past black people. During a lesson, Paul got hyper and angry towards a black couple, and started jumping up and down in his seat, pointing, laughing and shouting “alien” multiple times at them. On One lesson, Paul made me stop the car for 10-15 minutes while he went through his phone showing me “funny” videos while I was paying him to teach me. S*xist and a creep. One lesson, we drove past a girl who was driving an expensive car, and Paul said that “the only way a woman would ever be able to afford a car like that is if she was a pr*stitute.” Paul then told me the exact address of a pr*stitute in the area, and told me exactly what prices she charges for each length of time with her, which is a creepy thing for a 60 year old to be talking to minors about. Paul named his students that I knew from my school and he started rating how hot/ugly each person was, and he was visibly angry when I wouldn’t play along with him or laugh at his jokes. During lessons, Paul talked about “how good girls look in school uniforms.” Paul said that when a lesson is over with a “good looking girl” he loves how nice her body imprint in the drivers seat feels. In town, every time a girl walked past the car, Paul checked her out, and asked me if I liked her legs, chest or her a*s, his window was down so the girls were able to hear what he said about them. Some of them were as young as 13. Paul said that on night time lessons, when it gets dark, he takes the young girls down quiet side roads & they feel scared and uncomfortable. Paul laughed that “they think he’s gonna r*pe them” and said that he deliberately does it to annoy them, which is a disgusting thing to hear especially when you know the girls he’s talking about. Paul went on a rant one day about a young student who was pregnant, and talked about how disgusted he was, and said about how her dad should kick her out of the house.
